**The Strategic Sourcing Specialist **is responsible for development, management and execution of strategic sourcing activities for indirect goods and services to include but not limited to: spend management, supplier compliance, supplier contracts, supplier RFI/RFP/RFQ, supplier prospect analysis, qualification and selection, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), risk management, and network optimization. The position is responsible for executing sourcing activities for assigned categories with the goal of establishing required documentation and programs to improve Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), total cost, quality, and delivery. He / She will work closely with suppliers to establish contracts and ensure timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining compliance with procurement policies and procedures; perform day-to-day processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders; and provide appropriate support for Indirect Sourcing Lead, as required, and contribute to overall category performance targets and company goals.
- Perform tactical sourcing and contracting activities to fulfill internal business needs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories, to include: market analysis, risk assessment, and supplier selection.
- Identify and qualify potential suppliers, monitor, evaluate and communicate performance, develop and manage long-term supplier relationships that enhance FPI's capabilities.
- Negotiate and implement supply agreements, by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on optimal contract terms and conditions
- Lead sourcing activities for assigned categories including RFI and RFP activities.
- Work closely with external suppliers and internal cross functional teams to proactively identify opportunities for implementation of cost savings, lead time reduction, quality enhancement, and overall improved service levels.
- Review industry leading commodity cost indicators and publications to drive competitive costing and mitigate cost associated risk.
- Implement indirect goods and services sourcing initiatives that result in the use of the highest value suppliers while optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within addressable spend.
- Conduct supplier spend analysis and sourcing categorization.
- Organize and participate in supplier business reviews (QBR).
- Manage communications with suppliers regarding First Philec's compliance requirements and adherence to business and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify and execute process improvement projects that increase operating efficiencies.
- Escalate contract negotiation disputes and points of contention to sourcing management for resolution, as necessary. Assist procurement operations with supplier transitioning and implementation activities, as required.
- Manage the contract life-cycle in coordination internal business partners; including renewal or termination of expiring contracts and negotiation of contract changes and amendments to terms and conditions, as required. Reroute and facilitate approval of contractual changes, as necessary, and communicate new terms to appropriate stakeholders.
- Manage supplier relationships while gaining an understanding of their business strategy, production schedules, risk mitigation measures, transportation, logistics, inventory control and other relevant capabilities.
- Engage internal stakeholders in understanding the User Requirements and Scope of Work which lead to sourcing recommendations prior to reaching out to potential suppliers on RFP/RFI/RFQ’s

**Qualifications**:

- Good and comfortable in building partnerships, influencing others, and communicating effectively both in verbal and written form, seeking diverse perspectives, and strong emotional intelligence to enable cross functional collaboration.
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong oral and written communications skills, confident negotiator, strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of sourcing experience preferred in a manufacturing setting.
- Good understanding of sourcing and purchasing industry policies and procedures.
- Good oral and written communication skills

**Salary**: Php30,000.00 - Php55,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Tanauan, Batangas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Sourcing: 5 years (preferred)
