Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced 
Commissioning Manager
 to lead and oversee all commissioning activities for a 
ground-mounted solar power plant
 located in 
Nueva Ecija
. The successful candidate will ensure that all systems and components of the project are properly installed, tested, and operational according to design specifications and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and documentation of all commissioning activities for the solar power plant and associated systems.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from construction to operational phases.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, checklists, and procedures.
• Oversee system energization, functional testing, performance validation, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure proper integration and operation of electrical, mechanical, SCADA, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during commissioning.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on support during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and initial operation phases.
• Generate detailed commissioning reports and handover documentation.
• Train operations personnel as required during the handover process.
• Interface with local authorities and third-party inspectors for inspections and approvals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering discipline
  ; PRC license preferred.
• Must have experience in BESS Technology.
• Must experience working in NGCP.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience
   in commissioning, testing, or O&M in 
  power generation
  , with 
  strong preference for solar power plant
   experience.
• Proven track record of commissioning 
  ground-mounted utility-scale solar PV
   projects.
• Solid understanding of PV system components including inverters, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, and protection systems.

Job Summary

The Solar Power Plant Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all phases of solar power plant construction projects, from initial planning and scheduling to commissioning and handover. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Coordination
• Develop and implement detailed construction plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, permitting, and other departments to ensure readiness before mobilization.
• Organize site mobilization, workforce planning, and subcontractor assignments.
• Construction Management
• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring smooth execution of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works.
• Monitor progress against schedule and resolve issues that may cause delays.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet contractual obligations.
• Budget & Resource Control
• Manage construction budgets, monitor cost variances, and ensure proper utilization of resources.
• Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and change orders related to construction activities.
• Quality Assurance & Safety
• Implement site quality control programs, inspections, and testing protocols.

• Stakeholder Communication

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience:
• At least 5–10 years of construction management experience, preferably in renewable energy or power plant projects.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, electrical systems, and construction best practices.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and construction standards.
• Strong understanding of local building codes, permits, and environmental regulations.

2-5 Years worked Experience or Fresh Graduates are welcome.

With Less Supervision.

Willing to relocate.
