Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience Formulating skincare products (creams, serums, lotions) and household products (cleaners, detergents, sanitizers).
- Strong knowledge of organic ingredients, herbal extracts, essential oils, emulsions, preservatives, and label compliance.
- Familiarity with export quality requirements, including GMP, safety data sheets (SDS), stability testing, quality control, and documentation.
- Experience with hypoallergenic formulations and pediatric-friendly products; knowledge of ingredients suitable for sensitive skin and free from common allergens where feasible.
- Experience with fragrance, colorants, packaging compatibility, and shelf-life testing.
- Ability to develop formulations from concept to prototype and scale-up for production.
- Proficient in analytical techniques (pH, viscosity, GC/LC, FTIR, etc.) and data interpretation.
- Knowledge of regulatory and labeling requirements for cosmetics and household products in international markets.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize organic skincare and household product formulations suitable for export, with a focus on hypoallergenic and child-friendly products.
- Source and evaluate natural/herbal ingredients, validate claims, and ensure safety and efficacy for sensitive skin.
- Prepare technical documentation, including product briefs, formulations, stability studies, and VOC/release specs.
- Conduct lab testing and stability studies; troubleshoot formulation challenges.
- Collaborate with QA/QC, regulatory teams, suppliers, and production to ensure successful scale-up.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, quality standards, and labeling requirements.
- Assist in technical transfers to manufacturing, including process optimization and QA checks.
- Contribute to product safety assessments and post-market surveillance as needed.
