Purpose of the Role:

To perform various functions in joining, modification, fabrication, repairing equipment and metal object using an array of welding techniques such as MIG (Metal Inset Gas) & TIG (Tungsten Insert Gas)welding, electric arc and oxygen-acetylene in Native Broadleaf Facility.

Here's how you would make an impact:

• Responsible in performing welding and cutting operations.
• To do the fabrication and installation of pipe supports, barricades and any metal works relating to the project.
• Responsible in assembling metal structures to be installed on the project.
• Perform assignments given from time to time by the superiors.
• To set-up ladders, scaffolding and other platforms necessary to carry out welding work activities.
• Implement the 5s methodology on the work areas assign.

Here's what we're looking for:

• Graduate of Vocational Course
• At least 1 year of welding experience and in metal fabrication
• With SMAW NC II certificate
• Knowledge on the different technique in welding and can do metal fabrication.
• Knowledge in using electrical power tools like grinder, electric drills, cut off machines, & welding machines or any machines use in performing the work assign.
• Knowledge in using tape measures & L-Square or any measuring instrument.
• Knowledgeable in working safety in building construction environment.
• Experience in using SMAW equipment and oxyacetylene.
