Role
The Site Security Associate provides daily support to organizational functional areas of responsibilities to include: physical security, security operations, guard force operations, access support, training, and preparation of related reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide security-related advice to the management, as needed.
- Predict opportunity of corporate asset losses or business disruptions.
- Recommend solutions to mitigate the impact of loss opportunity to manageable proportions.
- Monitor the performance of the Security Provider in compliance to security requirements stipulated in the agreement contract.
- Liaise with the PNP, Army, LGUs and other support entities on matters that concern security.
- Conduct monthly audits in relations to the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) stipulated in the contract to the Security Provider.
- Oversee the training and operations of the security provider.
- Provide guidance on emergency response procedures and act as the "On Scene Commander" during an emergency.
- Report all security related matters to the Onsite Representative.
- Generate a weekly report on all security related matters, events, training assessments and tasks that have been completed each week.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.

- Graduate of any college course

- Certified Security Professional and/or military school graduate

- Preferably a retired military or police serviceman

As part of the Investigation and Intelligence Division (IID), the
Security Officer
plays a key role in upholding Philippine Airlines' security posture by conducting investigations, preparing threat assessments, and supporting intelligence-gathering operations. This position ensures adherence to internal security protocols and compliance with national and international aviation security regulations. The role is vital in identifying and mitigating threats to the company, its personnel, and its operations.
Major Responsibility Areas
- Conduct investigations on threats, acts of unlawful interference, and other security-related incidents as directed.
- Review security reports submitted by PAL personnel and service providers for compliance with procedures.
- Prepare intelligence reports, threat assessments, and security briefings for management.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on local and international security-related developments.
