I. JOB SUMMARY A Shipping Supervisor responsibility is to supervise the overall warehousing and shipping operations to ensure consistent implementation of standard procedures for receiving and issuance of raw material and finished goods delivery to customers. He/she should develop methodology to improve, control and maintain efficient process necessary to achieve the section objectives.
A. Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures on-time shipment of finished goods including proper allocation of driver and dispatch schedule to appropriate customers.
- Provides proper delegation of tasks and responsibilities to Shipping Assistant and Warehouseman to ensure daily targets are accomplished completely and in accordance to section standard procedures and company policies. Implements and manage efficient systems to account all incoming and outgoing movement of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods
- Establishes efficient security, warehouse control and optimum storage conditions of goods being stored in warehouse area.
- Monitors daily receiving and pick-up activities of raw materials and packaging materials with MCS, Planning and Purchasing personnel to effectively manage transportation schedule.
- Coordinates closely with MCS, Production and Sales in order to provide accurate information of stock level of raw materials needed for production and/or finished goods available for delivery.
- Monitors return goods, hold items and rework materials to ensure all are properly documented and/ or endorsed timely to responsible section
- Prepares monthly inventory report as required. Investigate and resolve inventory problems and report shortage in manual and or system.
- Track inventory performance in order to better plan, interpret variances and correct problems. Ensures all warehouse materials, equipment and supplies are available and properly utilized
- Determine and correct root causes of errors to ensure that record accuracy improves steadily and permanently. Updates all ISO/JSOX/ IATF related functions and documentation of the section.
- Monitors delivery vehicle management, ei: preventive maintenance, LTO registration, entry sticker to PEZA
B. Management
- Ensures that all quality, environmental policy and departmental targets are achieved while consistently observing 5S and safety procedures.
- Provides complete and on-time reportorial requirements and inventories to manager as needed
- Ensures all confidential information and documents are strictly maintained
- C. Communication Communicates effectively with leaders, co-warehouseman and to other sections personnel
- Practices and maintains high discipline and business ethics
- Reports necessary information to members as need arises and/or during group/section meetings
- II. TRAINING REQUIRED
- Basic Warehousing & Shipping Operation (preferable)
- Leadership Training
- Basic Safety Awareness Supply Chain Management
- III. JOB SPECIFICATION
- A. Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field
- 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse management
- With leadership/supervisory skills; administrate a group of people
- B. Competence and Knowledge
- Analytical and detailed person; can work both in office and production set-up
- Computer literate – use of Microsoft office and presentation skills
- With competent leadership to direct staff; mature, well-organized, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Good communication skills

The Shipping Supervisor oversees daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to customers. This includes planning shipments, supervising loaders and drivers, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with production, sales, and warehouse teams to meet delivery schedules and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all shipping activities, including loading, dispatching, and delivery of finished products.
- Ensure proper documentation of shipments (Delivery Receipts, Packing Lists, Gate Passes, etc.).
- Coordinate with Production and Sales Departments regarding delivery schedules and priorities.
- Monitor inventory of finished goods and ensure accuracy of stock before dispatch.
- Check and ensure the proper loading, securing, and condition of products before shipment.

- Address delivery issues, delays, or customer complaints related to shipments.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year course (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering).
- At least 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations; experience in packaging or manufacturing is an advantage.
- Knowledge in inventory management, dispatch scheduling, and documentation.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiar with ERP or inventory systems.
- Flexible, organized, and able to work under pressure.
