**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following** :
**Data engineering and analysis**
+ Performs text, quantitative, statistical, financial, and operational analysis; identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact financial performance
+ Designs and implements data pipelines to automate the collection, cleaning, and processing of financial data from various sources
+ Parse, cleanse, and manipulate large amounts of structured and unstructured data for analysis; perform QA testing to ensure accurate results

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 3+ years' experience in data science or advanced analytics
+ Expertise in working with large-scale data environments, including data lakes and distributed systems. Understands data architecture, table relationships, and data lineage across platforms.
+ Proficient in tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL
+ Experience in cloud-based Machine Learning services (e.g., Azure ML, AWS SageMaker). Capable of building, deploying, and maintaining AI/ML models in production environments.
+ Expertise in Extract, Transform, Load methodologies and tools and navigating through large datasets.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively frame analytics opportunities and convey data-driven insights through storytelling
+ Experience in partnering with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
+ Strong Finance background that can be translated to model design, ROI assessment, cost-benefit analyses, among other methodologies.
+ Background in Azure and DataRobot
+ Experience with finance and accounting tools (SAP, JDE, Blackline, GEP SMART)
+ Industry experience in oil & gas.
+ Proficiency in data modeling techniques, data fluency, and governance.
