**Position Purpose**:
The Manager - Legal and Compliance will assist the Director of Legal in establishing and implementing standard policies, procedures, and best practices throughout the organization to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations
**Job Requirements**:
Regularly updates and processes the Company records as to permits, licenses, farm in and out of assets, letters of authority, etc.
Liaise with government regulatory offices including, but not limited to, the Philippine Economic Zone Area and Board of Investments, as well as the relevant local government units, such as but not limited to the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Labor and Employment, Bureau of Customs, National Privacy Commission.
Ensure compliance with PEZA, DOLE, and BOI reports including compliance with the Data Privacy Act, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, related issuances of the National Privacy Commission, and other applicable laws and regulations relating to data privacy and security.
Support the DPO in ensuring privacy compliance and privacy program management of the Everise Group of Companies and implement the Company's data privacy program.
Periodically review and update Everise Privacy Policy, Data Protection Policy, Privacy Manual, and other related policies, processes, and manuals as required by applicable privacy laws and regulations.
Ensure the conduct of Privacy Impact Assessments for all new projects, processes, systems, and technologies, and provide legal and privacy advice to business on the impact of new privacy and data protection laws and regulations.
Maintain the relationship with the National Privacy Commission by complying with all orders and notices, submitting security incident reports, data breach notification, and jointly developing privacy awareness campaigns.
Design and create information security and data privacy training modules for all employees.
Perform all other duties and tasks that will promote legal compliances across all locations and assist the Director of Legal and Compliance in all related legal matters.
**Qualifications**:
Member of the Philippine Bar.
At least 4 years' experience in data privacy, corporate and/or regulatory compliance experience in a law firm or in-house counseling role.
