The successful candidate will be a member of the Equity Compensation Unit. Citi's Equity Compensation Unit is responsible for administration of employee equity award programs, including stock awards, stock options, and Deferred cash programs, in approximately 90 countries.
Working with Manager and other Equity Analysts, the Equity Compensation Intermediate Analyst will analyze and report equity program data to multiple internal and external parties.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage Equity & Deferred Compensation activities
+ Administer monthly FICA taxation and collection process, preparing, generating, and reconciling, liaising with payroll ensuring accurate and timely settlement
+ Analyze equity compensation data and support cross-functional projects and ad-hoc requests
+ Partner with team members on evaluating, assessing and distributing of the dividend equivalents process.
+ Create and maintain process and training documents
+ Propose and implement process improvements to achieve efficiencies and/or mitigate risk
+ Perform user acceptance testing for the development of the equity compensation system, as well as ongoing system enhancements and fixes. Create and execute test scripts. Track issues and liaise with project manager or technology team to resolve and re-test.
+ Research and resolve escalated inquiries from program participants, HR colleagues and other partners.
+ Independently create and analyze reports in order to provide adhoc requests globally utilizing MS Excel, Access and MicroStrategy. Prepare metrics to support data management
+ Act as key player, liaising with global equity coordinators, Global Equity Tax, Internal Accounting, Transfer Agent, Payrolls, and Human Resource departments on various projects and to identify opportunities to enhance equity awards administration and implement solutions to current processes
+ Assist in preparation of communications with regard to Equity Plans
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications:**
+ 2-4 years relevant experience surrounding work in Equity Compensation Administration
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
+ Ability to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities.
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
**Education:**
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
