Job Description
This is a remote position.
We're looking for an analytical and process-oriented
System Operations Specialist (Odoo)
to join our growing team. If you thrive in fast-paced, operations-focused environments and enjoy turning business needs into efficient system workflows, this role is for you. You'll start by managing core Odoo functions—overseeing daily administration, configuring modules, and ensuring data integrity across the platform—while making sure every process aligns with our business goals.
As you demonstrate your expertise, you'll take on broader responsibilities in leading new module implementations, developing comprehensive analytics dashboards, and spearheading process improvement initiatives across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow into a strategic business partner who combines technical system knowledge, operational strategy, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and scale across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
ERP System Management & Optimization
- Oversee daily
administration, configuration, and performance
of the Odoo ERP system. - Lead
module rollouts, user training sessions,
and adoption initiatives to drive system-wide adoption and proficiency. - Continuously identify, recommend, and implement
process improvements and automation opportunities
within Odoo to enhance operational efficiency. - Ensure
system security, data integrity,
and compliance with company standards across all modules.
Business Process & Workflow Translation
- Translate
business requirements
from leadership and cross-functional teams into scalable, efficient ERP workflows and configurations. - Serve as the
primary business process owner
for core Odoo modules, including Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, Purchasing, and Manufacturing. - Analyze existing workflows to
identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities
for system-driven solutions.
Project & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as the
main liaison
between non-technical business users and TDG's external technical partner (Ciranta), ensuring clear communication and alignment. - Collaborate with Ciranta to
scope, prioritize, and execute
system enhancements, customizations, and bug fixes. - Manage
change management processes
for system updates, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication to all stakeholders.
Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain
actionable dashboards, analytics, and KPI reports
for leadership to monitor operational performance. - Track system usage and performance metrics to provide
actionable insights and recommendations
for continuous improvement. - Maintain comprehensive
system documentation and user guides,
ensuring processes are clearly defined and accessible.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience
in Odoo ERP operations, implementation, or administration, with a strong track record of managing the system to meet business needs. - Strong functional expertise
with Odoo core modules—such as
Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, Purchasing, and Manufacturing. - Proven ability to analyze business workflows
and align them with ERP functionality and best practices. - Excellent communication and project management skills,
with the ability to manage priorities and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. - Strong analytical mindset
with experience developing reports and dashboards to track performance and drive business decisions. - Business-focused mindset;
this role is centered on process ownership and operational strategy, not custom coding (technical knowledge of Python or PostgreSQL is a plus but not required). - Experience in the
manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain industries
is a strong plus. - Exceptional
attention to detail,
ensuring system configurations are accurate and processes are executed flawlessly.
