Coordinate with various regulatory agencies in terms of compliances related to occupational health, work safety and environment such as DENR, DOLE, BFP and PEZA.
Coordinate and conduct occupational health, work safety, security and environment audits.
Perform assessments in accordance with established procedures.
Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential hazards and risks.
Develop and deliver training in occupational health, work safety, security and environmental awareness for all employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work safely.
Inspect and maintain emergency and safety equipment and devices.
Responds and assists emergency calls or other situations.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor and review risk assessments regularly to ensure they remain relevant and effective
Develop and implement emergency/safety preparedness and evacuation plans and initiate effectiveness tests.
Inspect the physical aspects of terminal operations and office locations.
Monitor safe working practices on an ongoing basis to ensure high standards of excellence.
Supervise and manage health, safety, security and environment department.
Continuously monitor and evaluate HSSE performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to ensure ongoing compliance and safety.
Recommend corrective actions related to hazardous conditions to the appropriate sources.
Provide and maintain statistical data, reports and analysis of accident/incident trends to operations in support of accident/incident reduction goals and continuous improvement of workplace health and safety.
Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
Performs other duties as maybe assigned from time to time.
Experience
· 2 – 3 years of proven experience working as HSSE Officer or HSSE Manager
