The Medical Bill Processing Auditor is responsible for processing incoming medical bills in accordance with applicable fee schedules, usual and customary guidelines, and PPO arrangements, while ensuring compliance with contractual client requirements.

This role may also involve conducting final reviews and providing payment recommendations to clients. The analyst is expected to maintain productivity levels, accuracy, and processing speed in line with company standards and expectations set by the Bill Review Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and review Workers' Compensation or no-fault medical bills using client systems.
• Reference online documents, client-specific instructions, and training materials to ensure proper and compliant bill review.
• Add or update Provider and Payee information as appropriate.
• Identify duplicate and reconsideration bills accordingly.
• Perform quality checks on completed work, as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in medical billing or healthcare claims review.
• Proficient in applying CPT, ICD, and HCPCS coding standards.
• Adept at using the 10-key pad with a minimum of 10,000+ kph or equivalent bill processing rate.
• Experience with Workers' Compensation and Auto / No-Fault medical billing is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Property and Casualty insurance processes is highly beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with medical billing software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
