About the role

- Review engineering drawings to check material specifications.
- Review parts and check item status and material specification using system and engineering drawings.
- Review and check active vendors for parts submitted on Customer Requests
- Communicate and coordinate with suppliers/product planners/supplier quality engineers/commodity managers to receive material declaration submissions.

- Determine and ensure accuracy and integrity of the necessary compliance records by specific legal and Copeland requirements including calculations, vendor document accuracy, customer request and response, new product development, specifications, and related documentation.
- Plan, select, and implement tools/systems for substance compliance for improved efficiency of processes.
- Review the changes/updates in Environmental Legislation and communicate its effects on components to the Business Unit
