**Required Qualifications:**
+ 2-3 years of experience in compliance, legal, risk (regulatory compliance risk, dealing with legislation), or audit (internal or external) as an analyst or auditor.

+ To proactively ensure CHB department meets the highest standards of import/export Customs compliance.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Compliance
+ Monitor Licenses or Registration of Service Provider to prevent us from servicing our customers if the licenses/registrations are expired/revoked.
+ Monitor Customer BOC CPRS/AMO registration and notify the Importer three (3) months prior to expiry date.
+ Assist Customers in filing BOC/CPRS/AMO renewal application as required.

**UK Tax**
+ Supports the UK Tax Compliance Process by analyzing, reviewing, sorting, and reconciling data from specific accounts to financial statement balances to ensure correct coding for tax return purposes and reported in the proper applicable legal entity.
+ Reviews tax calculations prepared by external tax advisors for small UK entities and escalate findings to UK Senior Tax Manager
+ Verifies payment status of new Subcontractors to determine the correct rate of deduction for Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) purposes.
+ Monitors payments for invoices received from third party vendors for tax related services
+ Monitors Transfer Pricing Documentation submissions to tax authorities by gathering information from local controllers
+ Coordinates with Controllership and other internal departments to gather tax accounting information and analyze tax sensitive information in various account categories
**Australia and New Zealand Tax**
+ Prepares assigned quarterly tax effect accounting entries and statutory tax notes.
+ Process and prepare lodgment of corporate tax returns, payroll tax obligations, and partnership tax returns.
+ Managing GST position, including preparation and lodgment of the business activity statements (BAS) and arrangement of GST payments.
+ Prepare fringe benefits tax (FBT) return, including analysis of tax sensitive accounts and determination of appropriate tax treatment.
+ Support the Manager in administering intercompany agreements and withholding tax positions.
+ Maintain tax fixed asset register.

**Qualifications**

The primary responsibilities include preparation of the US Federal and State corporate and partnership income tax returns.
+ Perform basic processes related to preparation of Consolidated Tax Returns (including maintaining detailed workpapers)
+ Prepare Standalone Corporate State Tax Returns and related workpapers
+ Prepare Federal and State Tax Returns and maintain detailed work papers supporting tax returns
+ Assist in the preparation of the US quarterly income tax estimates
+ Maintain and update Joint venture book to tax basis reconciliation
+ Respond and address queries and request from Joint venture partners based on guidance provided by Senior Team members.
+ File federal and state tax returns using tax compliance software
+ Prepare fixed asset reports and reconciliation for smaller group and input data to fixed asset software
+ Prepare workpapers and calculate tax adjustment for quarterly and year-end provision
+ Calculate and reconcile US and non-US tax account roll forward reports
+ Assist with requesting information required for foreign quarterly provision process to include: ETR, GILTI & FTC calculations
+ Assist with updating the foreign provision workpapers as needed
+ Review foreign tax hierarchy and work with IT to ensure new business units are correctly setup/mapped in the Tax Compliance Software
+ Respond to residency certification requests as needed
+ Assist with loading foreign pre-tax amounts in the Tax Provision Software
+ Reconcile amounts from Templates to Tax Provision Software to confirm completeness
+ Assist with developing audit ready files and gathering documents to support current year returns and provide IRS audit assistance as requested by Tax Planning Team
+ Gather support documents from business units and reconcile to the general ledger
+ Correspond with various state taxing authorities and assist in the resolution of state tax notices
+ Perform research on tax issues and other special projects
+ Analyze, review, sort and reconcile data from specific accounts to financial statement balances to ensure correct coding for tax return purposes and reported in the proper applicable legal entity
+ Assist in the quarter-end and year-end tax accounting reporting process
+ Assist when needed with adherence to department policies regarding managing, updating and ensuring the tax accounting quarterly and annual procedures and compliance with required SOX control objectives
+ Assist in gathering tax accounting information to help support the tax planning and audit teams
+ Assist with obtaining invoices needed for tax audits or missing information from the system
+ Escalate and analyze identified issues and concerns to the senior members of the team for timely resolution
+ Maintain current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required
+ Perform simple but varied tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures
+ Assess identified issues and collate documentation to assist in investigating and in resolving common and recurring issues
+ Support selected simple process improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent courses
+ Completed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent program
+ At least 3 years of professional experience in a multi-national company, corporate environment, outsourcing, shared services or other similar models within Tax Preparation and Tax Analysis functions
+ Working knowledge of accounting and tax principles and prior tax return preparation
+ Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
+ Experience in US Federal and State Tax Compliance is preferred
+ Exposure to large ERP systems, in particular Oracle, Hyperion and BCP experience is preferred
+ Experience with Corporate Tax and OneSource Tax Provision is preferred
