Refrigerator Technician – Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigerators, freezers, chillers, and other cooling systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to ensure efficient operation of refrigeration units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches. Managing all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks. Diagnose errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.

• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience maintaining commercial refrigeration systems and equipment
• Applicants must be willing to work in Quezon City and Makati City.
• 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Refrigeration & Machinery), electrical or equivalent.
• Experienced in Repair/Maintenance of Wine Chiller is a plus point
• Good in verbal and written communication skills
• Will conduct field work within and outside Metro Manila.
• Must possess valid NC II Certification in RAC Servicing from TESDA or equivalent qualification
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting electronic control systems
• Must be able to lift up to 25kg and work in various positions (standing, crouching, climbing)

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and display cases.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure systems are operating within safety and efficiency guidelines.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions.
• Recharge refrigeration systems with proper refrigerants following EPA regulations.
• Replace or repair components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, fans, and thermostats.
• Maintain service records and provide detailed reports on completed work.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, or facility managers to coordinate tasks and minimize downtime.

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in HVAC/Refrigeration preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• Proven experience as a refrigeration technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, controls, and safety procedures.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and hand/power tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for field service roles).

A Refrigeration Operator is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and efficiency of refrigeration systems. This involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining the system, as well as performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. They also need to follow safety regulations and procedures, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with others.

· Is precise, efficient, and has a keen grasp of technical skills.

Qualifications:

· Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or relevant course

· At least 3 years experience in repair and maintenance of Cold warehouse facility

· Must be willing to be deployed in Brgy. Turbina, Calamba Laguna.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and completing work orders

• Conduct weekly fogging to ensure sanitation and compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor and record equipment parameters to track performance and identify potential issues.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and complete data gathering for maintenance activity reports.
• Travel between assigned S&R branches as needed to perform maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical diploma or certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
• Solid experience in refrigeration maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to warehouse operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment efficiently.
• Experience in handling maintenance documentation and reporting.
• Willingness to travel to different S&R branches and work flexible schedules as needed.
