Job Description
Quality Control Specialist is responsible for counter checking inward and outward transactions of warehousing and blast freezing processes. The inspection covers both quantity and quality of customer goods to ensure that goods are effectively managed and that they are free of defects in accordance with customer’s specifications and external guidelines.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Conducts counterchecking and assessment of incoming and outgoing products using a variety of mathematical and statistical tools and techniques to ascertain its quality performance
- Inspects vehicle sanitation and condition to verify its conformance to product safety.
- Perform routine inspection and verification of warehouse operation in conformance to GOP, SSOP, HACCP, and company regulations.
- Keeps records of all quality checks and inspection conducted for reporting to facilitate decision making at management level.
- Transmits audited transaction records to Information Verifier.
- Assists Checkers in documenting noted deficiencies and deviation for the nonconforming products and recommends product disposition, if any.
- Recommend corrective suggestions for noted non-conformance/noncompliance, if any.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
- Provides analysis on customers' requirements in connection with products and checking products quality.
- Engages to continuous knowledge development with regards to rules, regulation, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
- Identify process improvements that lead to cost savings or revenue enhancement opportunities.
- Accomplish, update and monitors tasks in accordance with the approved Key Results Areas and Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensures that all information which are confidential in nature is held in accordance with the company policy and regulations.
- Performs tasks that may be assigned from time to time depending on its urgency and requirements of the job functions.
