A Quality Assurance Specialist (Intermediate) is responsible for ensuring that all systems or platforms are working properly and upgraded when necessary. He/she identifies issues, understands its occurrence, and recommends solutions on how to address the issues and prevent it from happening again. S/he makes sure that the final products satisfy the client requirements and meet user expectations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs specified standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness;
- Identifies program deviance from standards, and suggest modifications to ensure compliance;

- Monitors bug resolution efforts and track successes;
- Identifies, analyzes, and documents problems with program function, output, online screen, or content;
- Investigates customer problems referred by the support team;
- Performs initial testing and debugging procedures by reviewing/testing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source;
- Provides feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality;
- Provides technical support during software installation or configuration;
- Reviews software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks;
- Performs other related tasks that may be assigned; and
- Participates in the company activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field.
- With at least 3-year experience in quality assurance engineering
- Strong knowledge of the software testing life cycle
Skilled in the following:
Design and Execute test case under Testrail Tool
- Log issues or bug using JIRA Tool
- API Testing using Postman
- ISTQB Certified (but not required)
- Knowledge in Automation Testing using Robot Framework
