KEY TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Compiles and interprets results of tests and analyses.
- Provides technical support and assistance to chemists.
- Prepares chemical solutions for products and processes following standardized formulas.
- Maintains clean, and sterilizes laboratory instruments and equipment.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Monitors and evaluates conformance to standard parameters of samples, practices and procedures which includes physico-chemical and organoleptic evaluation on every batch of premix, cooked product, and hourly sample of finished goods
- Conducts process line verification prior start of production
- Performs routine verification of raw materials in the processing area
- Conducts in-line verification of CCPs
- Performs trouble shooting on sample that deviates the standard based on the established guidelines
- Evaluates sample after 24-hours with its physico-chemical and organoleptic parameters
- Generates Certificate of Analysis (COA) as requested by client
- Provides reports of the process result and issues
- Performs daily calibration and verification of equipment necessary in performing assigned tasks
- Verifies Clean in Place (CIP) procedure conducted by production based on established frequency
- Ensures compliance to established HACCP / Food Safety Program
- Reports to immediate superior any non-conformances observed that may result to food safety and quality issue
- Performs other duties/tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
- ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: College Graduate preferably Science Related Course (BS Food Technology, BS Microbiology, BS Biology, BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering).
- RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: With at least one year relevant working experience in quality control or quality assurance work.
