software engineering teams

What You'll Be Doing

  • Keep project timelines on track so engineering teams hit milestones and deliverables.
  • Act as the communication bridge between tech teams and other departments, ensuring alignment every step of the way.
  • Create clear, concise weekly and monthly reports on progress, challenges, and wins—tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Spot risks early and work with the team to resolve them quickly.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to help projects flow more smoothly and teams work smarter.

What You Bring To The Table

  • 2–3+ years in project coordination or management, ideally supporting engineering or tech teams.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects at once while keeping meticulous records.
  • Strong reporting skills—you can turn data into insights that teams and clients value.
  • Excellent communication—able to translate details for technical and business audiences.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset to keep projects moving forward.
  • Comfort working in tech-driven environments and using project management tools.
  • Availability to work in US CST hours.
  • A reliable home office setup with your own equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role focuses on completing a project as efficiently and promptly as possible, following duties and responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee projects from start to finish
  • Monitor manpower and budget deployment
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation
  • Attend to internal PMO weekly meetings. Update project trackers
  • Attend to project meetings (virtual/on site)
  • Manages and coordinates with internal team
  • Coordinate with site contractors and project managers
  • Ensures project meet deadlines and expectations
  • Understands the project by design and see to it that it is executed as planned.
  • Request for necessary resources, including coordination with other departments.
  • Secure equipment lead time status.
  • Provide necessary project reports and requirements
  • Conduct site surveys and site visits
  • Manage project progress and adapt work as required
  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
