Job Summary:
The PPIC Staff is responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and execution of production schedules and managing inventory levels to meet customer demands and company objectives. This role involves coordinating with various departments, maintaining accurate records, and implementing strategies to optimize resources and minimize costs.
Resposibilities:
Production Planning & Recording
Monitor production schedules based on customer orders, forecast demand, and production capacity.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure on-time completion of orders.
- Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in priorities or resource availability.
- Maintain accurate record of inventory transaction and production activities.
Generate reports on production efficiency, inventory turn over and material usage.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and control raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockout.
- Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper inventory storage, handling, and tracking procedures.
- Report on inventory status, production progress to PPIC Head.
Communicate with sales and production teams to align operations with sales requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating dispatch schedules and monitoring deliveries based on assigned routes and schedules.
- Communicate with drivers to provide updates on delivery schedules and address any changes or delays.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure the accurate packing and loading of items.
- Report and document any issues or repairs needed for assigned vehicles
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the head.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accountancy or a related field.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or a similar role (entry-level candidates with relevant internships are welcome to apply).
Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
