Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective execution of production schedules, overseeing raw material management, coordination with other departments and ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.

Job Description:

• Create and maintain production schedules, making adjustments as needed based on priorities or delays.
• Track and manage inventory of raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
• Coordination with the Warehouses to avoid overstocking or shortages.
• Monitor production and material costs to stay within budget.
• Collect and analyze data on production processes and team performance to ensure continuous improvement.
• Align production tasks and schedules with customer orders and demand forecasts.
• Oversee the execution of production plans, resolving any issues to minimize delays.
• Work closely with Production, Quality Control, Warehouse, Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or any related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing, preferably in a plastic industry.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control and material management.
• Skilled in multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

The Production Planner supports the Plant Manager in achieving production and budget targets through efficient planning and coordination. This role oversees daily production schedules, ensures material quality, and minimizes waste while complying with safety, labor, environmental, and corporate policies. The Production Planner is key to managing plant operations, special projects, and workflow organization to ensure cost-effective production, high-quality output, and alignment with customer specifications and demand.

·    Must be a graduate of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field

·    Must have 2 years' experience in related field

·    Must have ample knowledge on Production Process Management, Demand Planning, Production Scheduling, Quality Assurance Management

·    Substantial knowledge on Manufacturing Industry Standards

·    Must have intermediate to advanced skills in MS Applications

·    Preferably BOSH certified

Responsibilities

Creates, coordinates, and monitors production schedules and plans.

Checks material availability and calibrate production schedule to ensure continuity and balance of line

Reviews the delivery schedule, analyzes requirement vs available capacity, negotiates, and spearhead the delivery commitment

Creates and analyze performance reports

Qualifications

Graduate of Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field

Proficiency in production planning tools (e.g., ERP, MRP, MS Excel)

Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies

• Coordinate daily production schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Communicate production goals and timelines to supervisors and production staff.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies; coordinate with purchasing for replenishment.
• Track production output, update records, and report progress to the Immediate Superior.
• Assist in resolving issues related to production delays, material shortages, or equipment problems.
• Ensure that safety and quality standards are followed throughout production processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, inventory logs, and production reports.
• Liaise with other departments such as warehouse, QA/QC, and logistics to support smooth operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any similar course
• At least 1 year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or coordination role.

• Monitor production trends and collaborate with Production to adjust orders as needed
• Address material shortages by coordinating with HQ to fulfill sales orders
• Maintain optimal inventory levels throughout the supply chain to balance customer satisfaction and mitigate inventory risks
• Provide performance reports and assist with capacity, resource, logistics, and supply chain planning, while leading initiatives to improve business processes.
