The Production, Planning, and Inventory Control (PPIC) Specialist is responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the 3rd Party Logistics service provider. This role ensures that third-party providers adhere to inventory control procedures, timely reconciliation, and reporting requirements to support seamless supply chain operations.

Job Description

• Monitor inventory movement, storage, and reporting by 3PL partners.
• Track inventory accuracy KPIs such as: Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA), Daily Cycle Count Compliance Rate, and Losses/Damage Percentage.
• Coordinate and monitor cycle counts and physical inventory counts as per agreed schedules.
• Work closely with 3PL counterparts to ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions.
• Recommend process improvements based on recurring issues or gaps.

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or any related field.
• With at least 2 to 4 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a 3PL or warehouse environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills, especially with external partners.
• Knowledge of cycle counting, inventory classification (ABC), and warehouse best practices.
• Proficient in Excel and data reconciliation tools.
• Must be amenable to doing fieldwork.
• Willing to be assigned in Sucat, Muntinlupa.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inventory Control & Accuracy

a. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records.

b. Process and track inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate data entry into the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

c. Generate and analyze inventory reports

1. Process Improvement & Optimization

a. Analyze operational data, performance metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint areas requiring enhancement.

b. Propose and develop practical solutions, including process redesigns, automation opportunities, and technology enhancements

c. Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse and inventory-related activities.

d. Support the implementation of new warehouse technologies or systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Preferably a graduate of a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and/or a related field
2. With at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, or process improvement roles.
3. Having a background in implementing or supporting process improvement projects in a distribution or warehousing environment is highly desirable
4. Knowledgeable in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
5. Comfortable with data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring via KPIs, dashboards, and metrics
6. Strong attention to detail, ensuring high levels of accuracy and consistency in inventory documentation and reporting.
