POSITION SUMMARY
The Application Support - SAP Supply Chain Analyst role is to provide functional support within the Supply Chain modules of the Company's SAP systems (PP, MM, WM).
The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for providing day to day support to the global business, working closely with other Functional team members, Development and Security analysts and Business users to resolve issues. Assisting the SAP Technical Lead, they will ensure an appropriate response level in resolving SAP production environment issues and where appropriate will promote change requests to the production environment whilst adhering to the Company Development standards.
The position requires ability to work a flexible shift, which may include evenings and potentially some weekends, with an on-call requirement for escalated high priority issues.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a Level 2 support position that directly interacts with end users and company management.
- Responsible for the day to day end user support for the Company SAP Systems.
- Diagnosing, analyzing and resolving issues efficiently.
- Identifying and designing system enhancements required in response to incidents raised by the user community.
- Delivering such changes through the SAP System landscape.
- Completing functional and configuration documentation for any solutions delivered.
- Providing training to users on standard company processes.
- Maintaining SAP process related documentation in accordance with our Change Management policies and processes.
- Contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives relating to the processes we use to resolve Incidents / Change requests.
- Establishing a strong and effective working relationship between the Functional and Security based SAP teams as well as the Transition Management and Project teams.

- Experience with SAP QM.
- A good understanding of standard business processes within the supply chain area.
- Experience of current SAP technology e.g. SAP ECC6.
- Experience of working cross-culturally and cross-functionally and ability to adapt personal style to different environments.
- Organizational skills to make sure the team are achieving high levels of service.

**The Team:** The role will be part of the Index Management and Production Group ("IMPG") at S&P Global. The team is responsible for the production and management of a wide range of indices covering global options, equities, futures, fixed income, commodity, digital assets and economics indices. **Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct thorough research on corporate actions, new issuances, and other market events impacting Equity securities.
+ Understand and explain highly complex index methodologies to stakeholders.
+ Provide detailed analysis of recommended index changes to the relevant index committee.
+ Ensure that all index changes are accurately reflected in the index methodology and communicated to stakeholders.
+ Ability to serve on various index committees, providing necessary governance to S&P DJI branded indices
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to thoroughly assess potential methodology changes, manage the process of governance review, and work through to seamless implementation of the index changes.
+ Participate in the development and launch of new indices, including methodology application, operational feasibility and system capabilities.
+ Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and other factors affecting the Equity markets.
+ Provide subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
**What We're Looking For:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree required, with a focus in math, economics, or finance or related fields.
+ At least 2 years of professional experience working directly with Equity Indices, asset management, trade operations or related roles.
+ A demonstrable understanding of global financial markets, particularly the Equity market dynamics, regulations, and best practices.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Knowledge of Python & experience with process automation is a plus.
+ Must be able to work independently on multiple projects with a strong sense of initiative.
+ Must be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities on large data sets to solve problems in a timely and insightful manner.
+ Ability to learn S&P DJI's proprietary index calculation platforms
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate work done by multiple people and/or groups.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Advanced degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
+ CFA or progress toward CFA and/or CIPM certification a plus.
+ Experience working with index management or financial data services.
+ Familiarity with S&P DJI's index methodologies and processes.
+ Experience collaborating with global teams and managing multiple projects.
