Job Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Product Manager is responsible for the PnL of the product/s that he/she handles. The role sets direction for the product go-to-market with the strategic objective to generate revenues for the Company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Revenue generation - Ensures that the Sales team can effectively sell the product; Helps Sales in crafting proposals/solution offering and close deals.
  • Product SME – Acts as the pre-sales support to Sales; Does client presentations with Sales
  • Product viability - Maintains the competitiveness and relevance of the product – defines pricing and offering, draws the product roadmap and innovations.
  • Operational efficiency - Functionally oversees delivery operations that directly affect PnL.
  • Marketing and lead generation – Positions the product in the market. Generates passive and active leads. Handles telemarketing. Provides sales collateral – product decks and sales materials.
  • Expansion of product portfolio – launches new viable products as a new revenue stream for the company.
  • Partner Management – Manages 3rd party partners – principals and vendors adjacent to the product
  • Equips the Sales team through Product Training
  • Leads product strategy, GTM

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Education –  Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology or equivalent disciplines
  • Related Experience – Minimum 3 years of solid experience in Product Management

  • Strength on B to B and B to B to C product marketing

  • Exposure on IT related product/services (specifically cloud services and products: AWS, Alibaba, Azure, Google Cloud)

  • Skills – Presentation Skills and Microsoft Office

  • Soft Skills:

  • Above average communication skills

  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
