Your Daily Tasks

• Execute Global External Manufacturing projects, strategy, relationship management, supply continuity, change / design control, product introduction, and cost savings.
• Engage and execute in all PH Branded products produced by external contract manufacturers, including Design Change procedures, technical files, specifications, and related documentation

• Develop processes with external manufacturers that help align continuity with product specifications and doing business with PH.
• Coordinate new product introduction in supply chain with contract manufacturers by setting desired business system planning/demand parameters
• Review product design and implementation for compliance with company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications (including Design Control).
• Test coordination and management as required for externally manufactured PH specification products.
• Complete the technical aspects (ex: DFMEA, ISO Testing, Environmental / Conditional testing, and regulatory compliance) of Product Engineering projects.
• Assist in development and implementation of key performance metrics of contract manufacturers
• Incorporate modeling, situation analysis, problem diagnosis, & operations analysis to support business decision making with financial analysis
• Assist in financial measurement frameworks, targets and key performance metrics to drive business performance
• Integrate supply chain best practices and continuous improvement processes to support growth and continuing changes in the business
• Identify and resolve of problems related to externally manufactured products under PH specification.

• Develop characterization test plans using established methodologies targeted on chip IP functions and features.
• Execute characterization of target chip IP features using wafer-level ATE, package-level ATE, and package-level bench platforms across process, temperature, and voltage conditions.
• Apply statistical analysis on collected characterization data to define key product datasheet parameters and report out results.
• Identify and analyze to root cause product marginalities, communicating and coordinating root cause closure to appropriate cross-functional team (eg. Applications Engineering, Design Engineering, etc.)

• Develop bench automation and data collection scripts and programs.
• Design and develop ATE and bench HW.

Required Skills

• 3+ years individual contributor in Product Engineering, Si Validation / Characterization, RTL Design, or Design Verification

Job Description:

• Responsible for New Product Introduction Creation of MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials)
• Responsible for creation/revision of Production Master Data ( Material Master, Bill of Materials, Routing, Change Master, Document Info Record)
• Collaborate with other Engineering Team & other cross functional areas to generate details in BOM , assembly drawing, Bill of the process and other pertinent information required to perform the job.
• Ensures engineering quality and data integrity of JDE/SAP work packages.
• Communicates effectively within and outside of own team to explain facts, policies and practices related to work area.
• Can influence decision makers with recommended course of action
• Problems are typically within a single area of responsibility and are typically solved through exercise of discretion and/or judgment, drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis
• Responsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of work area
• Procedure writing to set standards.
• Ensure KPI's / metrics of the team are met
• All other tasks that are deemed appropriate by Product Engineering Manager.

Required Qualifications:

• College graduate preferably with Engineering degree
• Knowledgeable in Manufacturing Assembly Processes, Process sheets, work instructions , or assembly manuals.
• Multi skilled with other function within work area
• Knowledgeable in Engineering Tools: Proficient on the CORE analytical tools & techniques required for the job, Lean Application, QC Tools, and Teamcenter
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with modelled engineering data and configuration control through a PLM system.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Candidate must not be under Performance Improvement Plan (for internal hire)
• Have not been subjected to Disciplinary Action for 1 year (for internal hire)
• Have not been promoted or transferred for 1 year (for internal hire)

Soft Skills Requirement:

• Good teamwork & can work with minimum supervision
• Excellent Communication, English (both oral & written) and Presentation Skills
• Highly analytical and very keen to on details.
• Willing to render overtime /extended hours.

Technical Skills / Competencies:

• Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft Office & DWG related programs)
• Preferably with experience in using SAP/ JD Edwards or any similar ERP systems
• Preferably with experience in Team Center software application
