Under general supervision and direction, HE/SHE shall perform the following:
· Design and implement a 3D scanning rig suitable for museum setting
· Understand optical setups and camera positioning (for multi-view scanning)
· Develop multiple industrial designs for the system's hardware appliance based on the current appliance prototype and system requirements and implement the top selected designs for prototyping
· Define the hardware appliance's properties such as dimensions, weight limits, materials, and physical integration of components based on the developed industrial designs.
· Develop a plan that meets the appliance's latest version of the system requirements.
· Provide support in technical oversight and guidance during the assembly and testing phases of the rig, ensuring mechanical reliability and adherence to design specifications.
· Collaborate with computer vision experts for rig calibration and optimization
