We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Control Operator to oversee and operate automated systems used in the manufacturing of homecare and personal care products (e.g., soaps, shampoos, detergents, disinfectants, lotions). The ideal candidate will have experience in batch processing, control panel operation, and ensuring consistent product quality through strict adherence to process parameters and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
System Operation & Monitoring
- Operate automated control systems, SCADA, HMI panels, or PLCs to monitor and control mixing, batching, and filling processes.
- Monitor process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, and mixing time to ensure adherence to defined specifications.
- Start up, operate, and shut down processing equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Batch Preparation & Execution
- Accurately weigh, measure, and add raw materials as per batch production records (BPRs).
- Follow precise formulations for different product types (liquids, gels, creams, etc.).
- Record batch data, observations, and process deviations in a timely and accurate manner.
Quality & Compliance
- Perform in-process checks (e.g., pH, viscosity, temperature) and report deviations to QA or supervisors.
- Ensure all processes meet GMP, ISO 22716, and internal quality standards.
- Support traceability and product integrity through accurate documentation.
Equipment Maintenance & Safety
- Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting.
- Report equipment malfunctions, leaks, or safety concerns immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols, wear PPE, and ensure chemical handling guidelines are strictly followed.
Communication & Teamwork
- Communicate with upstream and downstream operators to coordinate material flow and prevent bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and supervisory teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain clean, organized work areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical certification in chemical, mechanical, or manufacturing disciplines.
