Job Summary
Process Development Specialist (Machines & Equipment) is responsible for qualification, evaluation, design standardization, preventive maintenance, training of operators and assets inventory of machines and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate creation and implementation of Computerized Machine Management System(CMMS) across all OFI sites
- Works closely with Process (Design) Development Specialist and Project Engineer in conduction thorough evaluations and qualifications of machines and equipment to be purchased
- Set guidelines ant matrices in evaluating and qualifying new equipment and machines
- Conducts dry commissioning activities of newly installed equipment and machines
- Conducts survey of all installed machine and equipment in OFI sites
- Prepares specifications including drawings for each available equipment and machines
- Establish and issue standard operating procedures for all machines and equipment
- Conduct Design HIRAC, EIIAC, HAZOP and FEMA for new equipment and machines prior to issuance of PO
- Perform other functions as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Registered or with License is a must.
- Experience in assets management, equipment and machines operations and maintenance, risk management
- Proficiency in mechanical equipment and machine design, cost engineering, data analysis and trouble shooting. Familiarity with AUTOCAD an advantage.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies an advantage
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information and lead cross-functional teams
- Familiarity in Project Management, including planning, execution and monitoring

- Technical skills: Proficiency in plant and equipment design, stoichiometry, unit operations, manufacturing process optimization, data analysis tools, and project management. Familiarity with AUTO CAD an advantage.

Responsibilities
As an intern, you will apply your knowledge and skill acquired from coursework and research to help develop the next generation of architecture and heterogeneous integration of Keysight compound semiconductor IC's. Process development efforts will focus on processes like metal plating, metal and dielectric CMP, lithography, ILD dry etching, etc. At the same time, you will gain and apply knowledge about Keysight's industry, infrastructure and products in your assignment. This internship is flexible in length between 3-6+ months.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a MS, or PhD in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or similar field.
- Experience with advanced microelectronics processes is essential and specific skills in III-V semiconductor processing is preferred.
- Hands-on lab experience in semiconductor processing such as lithography, deposition, etch, plasma processing, electroplating, wafer thinning, dicing, and/or sort is highly desired.
- Experience with statistical process control and design of experiments is a valued qualification.
- Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills for successful inter-group and intra-group interactions.
