PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and be a Registered Electrical Engineer, and previous leadership experience, preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise preventive maintenance schedules, preventive and predictive inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate and schedule manpower and materials to meet maintenance requirements to minimize downtime; coordinate maintenance activities with other plant operations.
• Execute prioritized daily maintenance activities (preventive and predictive) obtaining full utilization of work force while optimizing available opportunities for all maintenance.
• Supervise material control (spare parts inventory) and repair.
• Ensure equipment start-up readiness for production.
• Identify and ensure that safety hazards and unsafe practices are promptly corrected.
• Supervise performance, operation, fabrication, and workmanship of all maintenance staff.
• Make certain work assignment to all maintenance personnel.
• Enforce the accuracy of maintenance work, and confirm the completion of the work.
• Enforce company safety rules, procedures and practices.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

• In charge in formulating preventive countermeasure to a problem in order to avoid unscheduled down time and machine breakdown.
• Responsible to perform and monitor machine and equipment preventive maintenance program (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annually) as per machine requirements.

• Provide technical maintenance support for Final Test and Die Sort operations.
• Ensure maximum machine uptime by maintaining support equipment and performing urgent repairs when necessary.
• Assist in the repair and restoration of legacy handlers and testers.
• Collaborate with equipment engineers and suppliers for machine enhancements and upgrades.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to promote equipment sustainability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, particularly related to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Ensure compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety standards.
• Operate and maintain machines such as ISMECA, EXISTECH, TMT, EAGLE ETS88, CHROMA, HVM, IC, and WCSP.

• Education: Graduate of any Engineering course or relevant Vocational training.

• Experience:

• Hands-on experience in Final Test and/or Die Sort processes.

• Background in basic electronics and circuit knowledge.
• Familiarity with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and pick-and-place handlers is an advantage.

Onsite, Laguna Technopark Plant

Responsibilities

Performs testing, installation and replacement of electrical equipment, devices and components in different machines (timer, relays, ampere gauge, sensors, thermo controller, etc.).

Performs repairs and maintenance of industrial motors like rotary vane type and ring type and pneumatic compressor.

Applies knowledge on basic troubleshooting of coolmatic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

Minimum, Graduate of Vocational Technical Course

Specializing in two of three areas; Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics.

At least with 1 year of working experience.
