Collaborates with ASL team while developing new data sets and data sources and partners with Business Solution Automation team while deploying new Data Visuals following Application life cycle.
Contributes to IBS Automation strategy and IBS Analytics vision:
- Ensure that both Center and Market/Business analytics are driven by data management practices which supports data availability and quality
- Collaborate with internal data consumers and stakeholders to uncover needs, interpret business requirements, engineer quality Dashboards, perform testing of analytical tools basis expected data outputs, as well as support troubleshooting technical questions and dashboard/data source related issues
- Partners with SME, MAL and PO to identify analytical possibilities within the center, assesses complexity and effort required for a dashboard creation
- Partner with Operations to translate business requirements in order to build data architecture using available data sets
Design performance efficient, impactful reports, and visualizations for business and technical audiences
- Manages a large amount of data with the ability to load various types of data (csv, xml, json, xlsx, txt and others) from different sources (SAP BW, SAP HANA, SharePoint, Rest API, etc.) for a single storage layer (Data Lakes) for later consumption and analytical services.
- Responsible for data federation - combining the data result sets across multiple sources. Extract, format and transform data from multiple sources. Carry out and improve complex data seeking practices to capture data sources for use in various analyses
- Identifies the need of data sources, designs required data integration and collaborates with ASL, Local IT or BSA for proper data sources mapping to ensure completeness, compliance, and accuracy of the dashboard outcomes. Align and obtain approval from ASL team (if applicable) in case of usage of new data sources
- Develop dashboards using the relevant data visualization tools (PowerBI, and other apps like PowerQuery) to provide markets and internal teams with real-time visibility of the business performance
- Executes Data Ingestion through the resources of Azure platform following Nestle's compliance;
- Collaborate with ASL team when new data source or data lakes are required to support creation of PowerBI/PowerApps Based dashboard
- Uses Microsoft Azure and any other platforms or technology approved by ASL to ensure rapid extraction and delivery of data. Ensures technical troubleshooting of developed solution, responsible for data gaps tracing and ticket resolution which relates to developed PowerBI
Ensures continuous capability building and technical support for developed solutions:
- Develops dashboards supporting documentation within agreed standards, including documentation for troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain the instruction manual (QRGs) for dashboards and reports developed
- Share Knowledge and provide capability building sessions on available analytical tools within NBS and with market business partners
- Provide referencing and other support in the navigation of the dashboard for presentations
- Work closely with the dashboard users in improving the dashboard and resolve technical issues on the dashboard
- Ensures that developed solution supports personalization, multiple data sources with the ability to share dashboards outcome
- Sustains delivered dashboard solutions and reviews it frequently following NCE practices and methodologies. Problem solve analytic challenges by investigating the data, understanding the root causes, and coming up with measurement strategies

- Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistic, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; M.B.A. will be a plus

Job Description
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop dashboards and interactive reports to transform data into insights for informed business decisions using tools like Power BI, QlikView, QlikSense, or Tableau.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with business and technical teams, including stakeholders like product owners and data engineers, to understand data needs and develop BI solutions.
+ Data Visualization: Create clear and actionable visual data representations using best practices in UI and UX design.
+ Training and Mentoring: Train junior team members and establish best practices to ensure high-quality, consistent BI solutions.

**Qualifications:**

+ Work hand in hand with our stakeholders to understand the business processes and challenges, and develop proposals as to how data can help
+ Evaluate our reporting portfolio, and help identify possible improvements and new reporting needs
+ Works with the other members of the team to design, build and maintain Nexus, our advanced Data Warehouse
+ Works closely within our international organization (Finance, Operations, Sales, Content, IT.) to ensure our data is aligned, reliable, up to date and useful
+ Provide dedicated support to our Sales Operations team to help set quotas, calculate performance and execute commission payments
+ Define clear specifications, plan, then develop user-friendly dashboards and compelling data visualizations which provide clear and actionable insights
+ Provide training and support to our user base, promoting our tools and maximizing usage
+ Collaborate with other analysts, data governance experts and technical experts within the team as well as in the broader Elsevier Data & Analytics community to share best practices
Accountabilities:
+ Provide insights on the business about how to meet/overachieve business expectations through in-depth business knowledge and data analysis
+ Deliver simple & and complex dashboards using Salesforce.com and Tableau reporting environments
+ Acquire an in-depth understanding of business challenges facing internal customers and develop solutions to overcome those challenges
+ Help our sales colleagues drive our sales organization to be more productive by building and improving key sales tools and train front end users on their effective use increasing the institutional knowledge of the team
+ Play a role in the monthly processing of Sales reports, compensation calculators and payout statements
+ Perform ad hoc analyses and presentations as required
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree holder
+ Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a similar business intelligence or data analyst role, preferably serving a Sales or Customer Service teams
+ Basic Knowledge of Databases (MSSQL, Snowflake, .)
+ Basic Knowledge of Data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI.)
+ Strong analytical skills with a naturally curious mind set
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint required
+ Ability to work independently
