In-charge to handle the installation, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of electronic control systems, programmable logic controller and other equipment used in manufacturing operations. Maintains program back-ups for PLC and variable frequency drives. Accomplishes electronic/electrical control repair jobs based on contingency requirement and target schedule. Troubleshoots and repairs solid state motor drives, solid state temperature controllers and computer-based controllers. Recommends necessary changes in circuitry to simplify assembly and maintenance. Checks newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
THE DESIRED CANDIDATES:
Graduate of Electrical Engineering Technology course
Has at least two (2) years relevant work experience as industrial electrician, specifically in troubleshooting programmable logic controller and installation of electrical control wiring
Able to analyze and interpret data from solid-state motor drives, controller scope meters and other troubleshooting equipment
Capable of reading and interpreting electronics schematic diagram and electrical drawing/plan
Computer literate

The PLC Technician supports the reliable operation of Home Care and Personal Care production lines, with focus on Soap and Alcohol/Fragrance processes. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. The technician will also assist across different plant areas and work on a rotating shift schedule to meet production and maintenance requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and programming issues on PLC-controlled equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including software backups, inspections, and component replacements.
- Apply minor programming changes (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) to improve system performance.
