Job Description

I. POSITION SUMMARY
The Plant Supervisor is responsible for the overall opera ons and management of the PASSI Palawan br>branch, which specializes in the transporta on, treatment, storage, and disposal (TSD) of hazardous
waste. The facility is equipped with cri cal assets such as boilers with autoclave, refrigerated trucks,
and standby generators.
In addi on to plant opera ons, the Supervisor will serve as the branch’s accredited Pollu on Control < r>Officer (PCO), ensuring compliance with all environmental laws, permits, and DENR-EMB repor ng
requirements. The role combines technical leadership, regulatory exper se, safety enforcement, and
administra ve oversight.
II. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A. OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
 Manpower & Resource Management: Strategically allocate manpower across plant < r>opera ons to opmize efficiency and ensure a smooth workflow.
Budget & Expense Oversight: Manage the plant’s opera onal budget, monitor daily

B. POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICER (PCO) FUNCTIONS

III. QUALIFICATIONS

The Plant Operations Supervisor is tasked to provide assistance to the Plant Operations Head in overseeing the plant operations. They are trusted to facilitate the daily activities of various sections of the plant operations and ensure the efficiency of the team.

- Ensure works’ safety system in the production flow in the cylinder maintenance.
- Management of the inventory of cylinders in coordination with the Cylinder Controller.
- Management of supplies of other merchandise in coordination with the Operations Assistant for Brent Gas stores stocks.
- Request materials and supplies needed for daily operations and transactions of various departments.
- Monitor the daily task and objectives of the subordinates.
- Provide crucial guidance and support to the subordinates.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Preferably graduate of Mechanical Engineering
- With experience in production planning/process time, standardization, manpower loading, and line balancing
- Preferably with experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
- Must have supervisory skills and can handle people.
- Good communication and organizational skills

1. Operational Oversight
- Supervise daily field operations related to solar PV system installation, maintenance, br>and servicing.
- Coordinate and assign tasks to technicians and installation teams based on project
timelines and service schedules.
- Ensure all operational activities adhere to company standards, industry codes,
safety policies, and client specifications.

2. Team Supervision and Support
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate performance of technicians and crew members.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and technical updates with the
operations team.

workforce.
- Schedule manpower and field deployment to ensure effective resource allocation.

3. Maintenance Management
- Oversee routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of installed solar PV
systems.
- Coordinate with monitoring teams or system alerts to prioritize maintenance visits
and troubleshooting.
- Review maintenance logs and generate reports on system performance and
recurring issues.
- Ensure all service and maintenance activities are documented accurately and
timely.

4. Installation Management
- Supervise site preparation, layout, system mounting, panel installation, and
electrical integration.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly used on-site.
- Conduct on-site inspections during and after installation to verify quality and
compliance.
- Communicate with engineering or design teams for any site-specific adjustments or
modifications.

5. Safety and Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to occupational health and safety standards (e.g., PPE, fall
protection).
- Conduct periodic site audits and risk assessments.
- Maintain documentation for incident reports, safety drills, and compliance logs.
- Stay updated with solar industry regulations and best practices.

6. Client and Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during installation and maintenance
activities in the absence of the Operations Manager.
- Address and resolve client complaints or inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Provide updates and progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support in post-installation walkthroughs, handover, and client training.

7. Inventory and Equipment Control
- Monitor and manage inventory of solar materials, tools, spare parts, and
consumables.
- Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for replenishment and logistics.
- Ensure proper care, storage, and calibration of tools and testing equipment.

8. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, job orders, system checks, and
corrective actions.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports to management.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, O&M reports, and project completion
records.
