BASIC FUNCTION
- Responsible for the provision of general medical services to all patients employees and dependents of the Company-Philphos: Performance of Pediatrician, Internist, Minor surgical, Obstetrics and Gynecological functions (General Practice)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluates, diagnoses and treats all meadical, pediatrics, Ob-gyne, Surgical and trauma patients
- Accompanies and transports all critical patients who need immediate transfer to tertiary hospitals in Ormic and Cebu
- Does casting to all minor fractured and sprained patients
- Conducts circumcision of minor patients/dependents
- Conducts prenatal check-ups, Family Planning, and counselling of all obstetrical patients
- Treats and conducts counselling of Psychiatric patient
- Conducts suturing and debridement of laceration for vehicular accident patient
- Conducts deliveries of all full-term patient at the Delivery Room
- Evaluates pre-employment laboratory results and conducts pre-employment physical examinations of Philphos applicants.
- Reports as regular duty from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm except Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays
- Reports when called in, even during off-duty to evaluate, treat and manage medical emergencies
- Tasks to monitor all medicines dispensed at the Pharmacy
- Issues, fills out and signs "Back-to-Work'' slips, PCF- Sick Leave applications, Medical Certificates, Medical Insurance, SSS claims and medical referrals/LOA for Annual Physical Exam of employees.
- Acts a Liaison to various government agencies (DOLE, DOH, DENR, POPCOM, etc.) in areas related to occupational health and safety.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Doctor of Medicine graduate from a recognized medical school; must have passed the Philippine Medical Board Examinations; Completed 3 years, accredited residency in a respectable general hospital.
- Excellent communicator/interpersonal skills; with compassion and empathy; strong work ethic and a Team Player; with at least 2 years Intensive practice; willing to be assigned at Plant site in Isabel Leyte.

HEALTH CONDITION MONITORING AND PRIMARY CARE
Assess and determine health status of employee after an illness.
Provides treatment and rehabilitation to those employees with occupational and non-occupational illnesses.
