Reporting to the Equipment Supervisor, the Preventive Maintenance Mechanic is accountable and responsible for maintaining the correct level of PMS, lubrication oil, fuel and air cleaner filter of the equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Facilitate job order list including checking of service meter reading and odometer reading of the equipment.

  2. Check and correct level and condition of oil, fuel and air cleaner filter etc. depending on the type of equipment which was assigned.

  3. Make sure that the ignition key is pulled out before removing the filter and drain oil in the designated area to prevent spillage that can harm the environment.

  4. Dispose waste filter and used oil in accordance with the policy and procedure.

  7. Clean unit thoroughly.

  8. Record and monitor preventive maintenance services.

  9. Record on lube consumption, stock and proper storage of lubricants.

  11. Conduct inventory of oils and filters.

  12. See to it that all equipment after going PMS have PMS ID visible to the Operators/Drivers

  18. Can attend to all door closer issues in all Metro Manila Sites (Alabang, Taguig, Mandaluyong, Quezon City).

  19. Participate in all testing and commissioning activities with the client's vendor.

  20. Collaborate, work closely and must be capable of managing the client and client's vendor onsite. Serve as the technical point of contact regarding door closer issues.

  21. Work closely with Service Manager in furnishing status reports and materials request.

  22. Furnish complete and precise required reports. Ensure that all site official monitoring trackers are complete and properly documented.

  23. Providing daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports to clients.

  24. Furnish work permits if necessary.

  25. Willing to work shifting hours (24 hours).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Good written and oral communication skills.

  2. Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills.

  3. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Can resolve issues reported via onsite visit and provide recommendation for the system improvement.

  4. Knowledgeable in Installation and troubleshooting of door closers.

  5. Proficiency in doing investigations in any service call related concern to determine the root cause and present suggested workarounds and solutions.

  6. Experience in hardware installation, wiring and termination, relocation, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of door closers

  7. Ability to understand and explain technical information to clients.

  8. Team player, able to work under pressure
