- Carry out risk assessments and ensure corrective and preventive measures are undertaken as well as controls and barriers are put in place.
- Investigates, analyses, and reviews all HSSE incidents and accidents as per procedure and policies. For incident, major focus is on high potential near misses and unsafe practices within the area. Accident reporting shall be according to the define framework and local regulations.
- Conduct post incident reviews for all high potential incidents as a minimum, share findings with Compliance Manager.
- Drives and follow ups HSSE regular local compliance programs and activities such as but not limited to audit/ testing / drill exercises and processes for facilities and vendors to ensure adequate performance. Maintain evidence and share with all stakeholders.
- Conducts HSSE induction/ orientation to all newly hired employees as well as newly onboarded 3rd party vendors for operations such as but not limited to truckers, brokers, heavy lift equipment provider etc. and 2nd party personnel such as security personnel and agency hired employees.
- Monitors and analyses Occupational Health & Safety dashboards/KPIs including data generated from Safety Connect program. Submits monthly reports and analysis to Compliance Manager.
- Monitors completion of monthly worksite inspections by designated Safety Officers and closure of the action plans as a result of the inspections.
- Submits regular OSH related reports to Dept. of Labor (DOLE) and other applicable government agencies.
- Organizes monthly HSSE Committee meeting and submits minutes of the meeting to all committee members and all Head of Department (HOD).
- Initiates HSSE facility assessment for new offices and warehouses and submits the assessment reports to all stakeholders.
Other Compliance Regulations:
- Ensure that all the HSE legal requirements are fulfilled such as ECC, CNC, LLDA, etc. and coordinate with respective stakeholders
- Ensures there are appointed and accredited Pollution Control Officers (as applicable) and Safety Officers appointed in all sites.
- Monitors the timely submission of all DENR-EMB & LLDA related reports by Pollution Control Officer.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

- With training in Basic Occupational Safety and Health for Nurses (conducted by OHNAP).

Support Worldwide Strategy and Regulatory teams by providing analyses of post-marketing safety data, reviews of the medical literature, and similar related activities.

Position Purpose
Review, preparation, and completion of reports of adverse drug experiences, to determine the safety profile of Pfizer's products and to meet regulatory requirements. Determination of local submission of individual and, where appropriate, aggregate safety reports.
Primary Responsibilities
- Carry out case processing activities.
Review, rank, verify, process and document case-related information: event terms; validity, seriousness, special scenarios; timelines; accuracy and consistency. Process cases based on these assessments.
Review case criteria to determine appropriate workflow for case processing.
Assess cases to distinguish those with particular complexities and/or specific issues and escalate appropriately.
Write and edit case narrative.
Determine and perform appropriate case follow-up, including generation of follow-up requests.
Review processed cases to verify accuracy, consistency and compliance with process requirements, and review case data for special scenarios.
Liaise with key partners, locally, and other stakeholders regarding safety data collection and data reconciliation.
Develop and maintain expertise and knowledge for applicable corporate and global regulations, for guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, for data entry conventions, and for search functions in the safety database.
Determine reportability of scheduled reports, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Consistently apply regulatory requirements and Pfizer policies
Participate, as appropriate, in local, internal, and external safety activities
Technical Skill Requirements
- Experience in pharmacovigilance and/or data management preferred
Experience and skill with medical writing an advantage
Demonstrated computer literacy.
Qualifications
Experience in use and management of relational databases preferred
- 1+ years of pharmacovigilance experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Health or Life Sciences
Health Care Professional Or Equivalent Experience Preferred.
Ability, with supervision, to solve routine problems and to surface issues constructively.
Ability to make basic decisions with an understanding of the consequences.
Ability to achieve personal objectives while meeting departmental standards of performance.
Ability to work under supervision in a matrix organization.
Fluency in spoken and written English
