**What you will be doing**:
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
- Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Proactive daily schedule communication with local and HQ team including the vendors, if and when needed, to ensure projects are carried out on time.
- Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
- Implements appropriate security measures such as firewalls or message encryption.
- Assist on audit systems and assess their outcomes.
- Look into preserving assets, information security and control structures
**What we're looking for**:
- Has bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field of study
- 5 years of IT experience in a similar role with excellent knowledge in Network/Systems/Database Admin or equivalent.
- Having experience in Finance/Bank/Payment industry experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows, G-Suite, Windows Server, and Networking.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a “Do-whatever-it-takes” attitude and uncompromising work ethic.
- Good interpersonal skills and has a team concept mentality.
**Work Setup Requirements**:
- Can work full-time.
- Temporary work from home with some days required in the Office
- Stable internet connection with good bandwidth
- Willing to work in Makati
