Role Purpose:
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and capable individual to provide advanced network technical services to our customer base across Australia and New Zealand, working from home and our Ortigas and/or Alabang offices.
Desired Skills:
To perform this role, we are seeking most of the following experience:
- 5+ years' Network Administration experience, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT outsourcing environment.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
- Proven hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies and solutions from vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Unifi, Aruba, and Palo Alto.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless networking, firewall configuration, SD-WAN technologies, and advanced network security best practices.
- Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification.
- Other Aruba, Cisco or Fortinet NSE Certifications would be highly valued.
- Experience with SolarWinds Orion and NCM or other monitoring and automation services.
- Experience working with an IT outsourcer or Managed Service Provider.
- Experience working in client-facing roles, providing technical expertise, documentation, and support to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate solutions and collaborate effectively with teams and clients.

Requirements
Duties:
As a Networking Technician, you are responsible for the management and support of Network technology and associated basic project delivery for First Focus in line with the strategic direction of the business
Requirements:
- Support scalable, secure, and highly available network infrastructures for both First Focus and its diverse client base.
- Collaborate as part of a high-performing Network Engineering team to deliver network solutions that align with client objectives, business needs, and strict SLAs.
- Support the deployment and configuration of enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, wireless, and firewalls across multi-vendor environments.
- Provide proactive operational network management, monitoring, and optimization for client networks to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and service issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution.
- Configure, install, and maintain a variety of network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, QoS, SD-WAN, etc.).
- Perform routine network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configuration updates via both automation via Solarwinds Orion NCM and manually.
