The Network Engineer will be part of a team responsible for maintaining a complex infrastructure. This position will provide an exciting mix of implementing new technologies in addition to maintaining the existing infrastructure Network. Looking for a seasoned Network Engineer with a solid focus on complex IP networking and data center design. The ideal candidate has a passion for creative design and out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to solving challenges. They can work collaboratively across multiple teams to find the right solution or be willing to expand their understanding to get to the right solution.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Interpret business objectives and translate into technical requirements for network design and implementation
+ Design/Architect resilient, fault tolerant, network architectures that provide a stable and consistent business experience
+ Design/Architect networks with security best practices and enforcing proper segmentation for various applications and uses
+ Install, configure, deploy, and validate, LAN, WAN, WLAN, and security designs
+ Maintain and operate firewall policies and NAC policies to ensure best practices and proper network segmentation
+ Develop and leverage network automation to drive efficiency and standardization
+ Create and maintain network documentation
+ Configure and maintain network monitoring tools
+ Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). **Required Qualifications:**
+ Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
+ Experience of network engineering in medium to large enterprises
+ Experience with routing, switching, wireless, firewall, load balancing, DNS, public and private peering, NAC
+ Experience with the following routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, as well as protocol redistribution and route policies
+ Experience with the following manufacturers: Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Citrix
+ Experience diagnosing and resolving network performance issues
+ Top Skills Details: Network engineering, NAC, Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Cisco ISE, Palo Alto, BGP, OSPF, DNS
+ Additional Skills & Qualifications: Less concerned with certifications and more concerned with experience
+ Skills and abilities:
+ Ability to adapt to new network environments and use your current knowledge to maintain and troubleshoot unfamiliar systems
+ Provides level 3 support for customers and mentors more junior team members
+ Architect and implement firewall, router, and switch configurations
+ Analyzes problems and determines root cause
+ Plans network changes including coordinating with the business, scheduling the change and implementing the change
