Non-Negotiable Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree holder

Job Description
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Working with the AVP Digitization and Automation US Operations and JH Data & BI leadership team, and other colleagues & partners, understand US Operations context, opportunities and pain points, and propose ways we can use data and analytics to improve reporting, generate insights, support business goals, and solve problems
+ Manage governance of Power Platform tools across environments, including UAT and Production.
+ Oversee JIRA items for the MBPS counterpart and ensure alignment with team standards and protocols.
+ Help develop talent by identifying action items and areas for improvement for team members.
+ Process new reporting, analytics, dashboard requests + lead on their delivery
+ Leverage Manulife's available technology to build or improve easy-to-use and sustainable solutions
+ Propose solutions to achieve our business objectives
+ Streamline data collection methods to create automated, standardized and easy-to-use routines
+ Assess our current level of data & analytics maturity, as well as our current technical infrastructure (eg: sources, ingestion, transformation, storage, augmentation, presentation, etc), and recommend ways to optimize
+ Proactively recommend reporting, analytics & BI best practices, and also stay abreast of what else is happening internally & externally in these areas
+ Coordinate with our key internal partners as needed
+ Assist stakeholders with reporting & analytics tool adoption as needed
+ Lead or support other reporting & analytics activities as needed
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Education: Bachelor's Degree holders are welcome to apply
+ Experience: At least seven years of extensive experience in Power Platforms (especially Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate) and other Business Intelligence tools, big data, and Azure platforms
+ Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)
+ Shift Schedule night): Amenability to work on the assigned schedule (dependent on business need)
+ Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:
+ Demonstrate advanced knowledge of reports and dashboard development in multiple BI platforms: Power Platforms, Qlikview, SQL, Data Lake
+ Ability to identify and resolve issues, and recommend best visualizations and reporting solutions based on reporting requirements
+ Ability to coach and provide support to subordinates, project teams, and stakeholders
+ Planning and organizational skills, including ability to prepare schedules and communicate status of overall development effort
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) Certified

Job Description
**Key** **Responsibilities:**
+ **Collaborate with Users and Teams:** Partner with users, product owners, and data engineers to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, including dashboards and interactive reporting tools on key business measures.
+ **Translate Business Needs:** Work directly with business stakeholders to translate their data needs into technical requirements, design, and implementation through data visualization.
+ **Utilize UI/UX Best Practices:** Apply UI/UX best practices to create visualizations that provide a single, aligned version of the truth, clearly present business results, and prompt action.
+ **Flexibility on Handling** **Projects** **:** Flexible on working with low to high complex projects with a possibility onutilizing multiple tools or technology for each solutions.
+ **Manage User Access and Troubleshooting:** Provide and maintain user access, report connections, and troubleshoot issues by navigating management consoles or workspaces.
**Qualifications:**
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or any relevant field related to Business Intelligence.
+ Experience: At least 2 years of hands-ondevelopment experience in developing BI solutions, preferably with Power BI. (Experience with Qlik technology is a plus.)
**Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:**
+ Ability to interpret data effectively and provide suggestions and decision-making based on factual analysis.
+ Knowledgeableon ETL process and have exposure with variety of data sources (e.g., data sets, data flow, MS SQL, Azure Data Lake, EDL)
+ Understand the end-to-end process of dashboard development, including all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
+ A fundamental understanding of project management is preferred
+ Experienced in data storytelling and visualization, with the ability to turn complex data into clear and engaging stories and visuals.
+ Proficient on using different Microsoft O365 Tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Familiar with Power Platform tools (e.g., MS excel, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI workspaces).
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism at all times.
