Job Summary

• Performs basic molding machine operation and maintenance
• Conducts troubleshooting of machine alarms and performs initial inspection prior to mass production
• Accomplish documents and records related to molding production procedures
• Responsibilities and Duties
• Assist technicians on implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance of injection machines and its auxiliaries such as take-out robots, hot runner controllers, mold temperature controllers, water chillers and crushing machines and others.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Vocational or technical related courses (Electronics technology/Mechanical Technology)
• At least 6 months experience required in machine maintenance gained in plastic manufacturing company

●  Performs a variety of cleaning and general maintenance tasks as necessary.

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE

●  Knowledgeable and with experience in set-up and troubleshooting of machine accessories such as MTC, Hot Runner, Hopper dryer and valve controller.

●  Knowledgeable in Jig repair and preventive maintenance

●  Able to operate or use the testing instrument

●  Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Plastic Injection Molding Machine Technician who can operate and maintain the molding machine. As a Technician, you will play an essential role in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting plastic injection molding equipment to ensure efficient production of high-quality components.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines, ensuring optimum machine performance and consistent product quality.
• Set-up molds in molding machines and ensure mold set-up, changeovers, and housekeeping standards are met.
• Conduct routine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate production records and machine logs.
• Follow all safety protocols and quality standards to ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment or tooling issues during production.
• Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced staff as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Understand the principles of molds and plastic molding;

Responsibilities:

1. Perform spot checks on machines/peripheral equipment in the area of responsibility every shift according to the specified contents and fill in all spot check reports correctly;
2. Forming parameters daily inspection process, the machine and other parameters have changed, according to the actual inspection fill in time to report to the superiors to deal with;
3. Receive orders from superiors to arrange for mold conversion, go to the clerk's office to collect work documents as soon as possible, and promptly collect production data documents and hand them over to the assistant office;
4. According to the content of the "mold transfer order", check and prepare the peripheral equipment: hardware machine, protective film machine, hardware insertion jig, suction product jig and so on;
5. Cooperate with superiors to prepare the work before start-up: preparation of production materials, regeneration material barrels, machine marking status update, workbench, peripheral equipment, etc. clean up, notify the team leader to arrange the work of the personnel;
6. Cooperate with supervisors to maintain normal production of the machine and deal with abnormal alarms of the machine in a timely manner;
7. Assist employees in dealing with problems that occur during production to ensure safe and orderly production;
8. Carry out the 6S work of the district and ensure that the machine and peripheral equipment are clean and tidy;
9. Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors
