Job Summary:
The Head of Commercial Credit for Metro Manila provides strategic leadership in managing the Bank’s commercial credit portfolio by ensuring sound credit risk management, high quality credit evaluation and credit governance. He/ She leads the team in maintaining portfolio quality, supporting business growth through prudent lending decisions, and driving operational excellence as well as partners with senior management on strategic initiatives while overseeing day-to-day operations and performance of the team.
Role Exposure:
- Reviews, analyzes and finalizes Credit Group’s stand on credit proposals for approval by various Committees, ensuring decisions are prudent, consistent and well-supported.
- Closely collaborate with the lending officers and other Senior Officers pertaining to appropriate financial packaging, balancing business growth objectives with sound risk management and portfolio quality.
- Ensures quality credit assessments, accurate and timely credit risk ratings and classifications, timely monitoring of challenged credits, and the exercise of sound credit judgment
- Maintains oversight of the Metro Manila credit portfolio, identify emerging risks and recommend appropriate mitigating actions.
- Ensures the team has the right capacity at all times through timely hiring, talent retention, and effective performance management
- Ensures effective training, people development, and succession planning within the Group
- Drive consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement in credit processes and other initiatives
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field
- Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage
- At least 5-10 years of progressive management experience leading large teams and managing complex commercial portfolios
- 10 to 15 years of progressive commercial credit and/or commercial lending experience with a leading universal, commercial, or international bank
- Demonstrated experience in handling, assessing or approving various types of commercial and corporate portfolios across multiple industries
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills
- High integrity, sound judgement, ability to work effectively under pressure

The Job
a) Financial strategy and leadership

The Candidate
a) Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines strongly preferred
- MBA or Master’s degree is an advantage
b) Experience
- 8-12+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
- At least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Experience with MNCs, shared service centers, or regulated industries is a plus.
- Background in renewable energy, power or infrastructure is preferred.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and other accounts.
- Assist in preparing tax filings and compliance requirements (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
- Support internal and external audit activities by providing required schedules and documents.
- Assist in budget tracking, expense monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with company financial policies and local accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of local tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Role Overview
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for the day-to-day processing of Accounts Payable (AP) transactions. In this transactional role, you will ensure that all vendor invoices and employee expenses are accurately recorded, categorized, and prepared for payment within standard accounting systems and agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing : Receive, review, and accurately enter vendor invoices and employee expense reports into the primary accounting system
- Three-Way Matching : Perform matching of purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices to ensure accuracy before processing
- Data Entry & Categorization : Ensure proper coding of expenses to the correct general ledger accounts, cost centers, and tracking categories
- Vendor Management : Assist in onboarding new vendors, maintaining accurate vendor master data, and responding to basic vendor inquiries
- Payment Preparation : Prepare payment batches (e.g., ACH, wires, checks) for review and approval
Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (equivalent experience also considered

**POSITION SUMMARY**
Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and activating/issuing room key. Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements. Enter Marriott Rewards information. Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Secure payment prior to issuing room key, verify/adjust billing. Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists. Complete cashier and closing reports. Supply guests with directions and property information. Accommodate guest requests, contacting appropriate staff if necessary. Follow up to ensure requests have been met. Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges. Balance and drop receipts. Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift. Obtain manual authorizations and follow all Accounting procedures. Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.
Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Develop/maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
