JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of any engineering course, preferably a licensed engineer.
EXPERIENCE: Must have at least five (5) years of work experience in a managerial/supervisory capacity.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Oversees and manages daily production activities, ensuring seamless operations from planning through delivery while maintaining high standards of efficiency, quality, and safety.
Develops, implements, and monitors production schedules to meet customer demands, optimize resource utilization, and minimize downtime, ensuring on-time delivery and operational efficiency.
Leads, mentors, and manages production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while supporting professional growth and development.
Reviews and validates the Master Bill of Materials (MBOM), Work Orders, shop floor drawings, and technical specifications received from the Production Planning and Control (PPC) department before initiating planning and scheduling activities.
Approves Material Requisitions prepared by the Foreman, ensuring timely withdrawal of required materials from the warehouse. Ensures efficient use of excess and leftover materials from other projects to minimize waste.
Ensures the availability of raw materials for Metal Fabrication and Painting Department, monitor material consumption, and implement controls to prevent spoilage and minimize waste.
Tracks project progress through regular monitoring of the Planning Board and on-the-ground inspections. Provides accurate daily Project Status Report to the Plant Manager and PPC to ensure transparency and alignment.
Ensures production personnel adhere to departmental work instructions and company policies. Provides training, guidance, and performance feedback to enhance skills and maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
Implements and monitors In-Process Inspection procedures in compliance with approved guidelines and Process Control Charts to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.
Identifies, investigates, and initiates corrective actions to prevent nonconformities related to
products, processes, and quality systems. Verifies the effectiveness of implemented solutions and ensure timely resolution.
Exercises authority to halt further processing or delivery of nonconforming products until the issues are resolved, ensuring that only products meeting quality standards proceed.
Validates Action Logs initiated by Section Heads and forward them to the PPC for the preparation of Action Requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of production issues.
Collaborates with the PPC, Sales, Production Design & Technical Department (PDTD), and Technical Planning & Design Department (TPDD) to clarify job orders, technical specifications, and shop floor drawings, ensuring alignment across all departments.
Enforces compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and ensure consistent adherence to Integrated Management System (IMS) procedures, company policies, and the Company Code on Employee Discipline.
Works closely with the Plant Manager and other departments to align production strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring operational goals support the company's growth and customer satisfaction.
Conducts daily coordination meetings with Supervisors and Foremen to review the Action Log, address operational challenges, and ensure timely resolution of issues affecting production.
Research and implement advanced metal case goods techniques, new machinery, and automation technologies to enhance production efficiency. Stay informed about industry trends, sustainability practices, and technological advancements in metal case goods and painting.
Leads continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing product quality, increasing productivity, reducing costs, and promoting environmental responsibility.
19 Ensures periodic reviews of Quality Management System (QMS) Risk Assessments. Communicates roles and responsibilities related to risk management and oversees the implementation of effective action plans.
Encourages and directs subordinates to actively participate in company-sponsored training programs, work improvement initiatives, cost-efficiency efforts, and compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other company-driven standards and activities.
Performs related additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to the dynamic needs of the organization.

This role is key to ensuring every job—often with 200–300 unique items—is thoroughly tracked, labeled, and documented before delivery to site.
You will manage technical checklists, compile accurate MTOs and MDRs, and serve as the central point for documentation flow across engineering, QA/QC, and estimation. Your ability to read drawings, understand Australian standards, and stay on top of every task will help keep projects running with precision—from detail to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day project documentation and tasks across multiple jobs
- Create and maintain comprehensive checklists for deliverables (200–300 items/job)
- Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of items being sent to site
- Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and maintain detailed item and part tracking
- Compile and review Manufacturer Data Reports (MDRs) for handover packages

Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting, Construction Management, or related field
- At least 2 years' experience in a fabrication, engineering, or construction environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (including weld symbols)
- Familiar with Australian fabrication standards and job documentation requirements
- Hands-on experience compiling MDRs, MTOs, and lists of deliverables
- Proficient in OneDrive (or similar database tools), shared inboxes, and email group coordination
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data tracking)
