Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced MEPF Design Manager to lead the design and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) systems across various building and infrastructure projects. This role is onsite, based in Salcedo Village, Makati City, and will be responsible for ensuring that MEPF designs are efficient, compliant, and aligned with project goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full MEPF design process from concept to construction documentation.
  • Review and approve MEPF design drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure designs comply with local codes, regulations, and green building standards (e.g., LEED, BERDE).
  • Coordinate with architectural, structural, and civil design teams for full integration of building systems.

  • Accurately place HVAC components (e.g., grilles, ducts, and units) using drag-and-drop functionality.
  • Run load calculations and generate reports/system diagrams.
  • Apply knowledge of ASHRAE standards and Australian building codes (e.g., AS 1668).
  • Interpret mechanical tender drawings and apply design best practices.

Estimating & Scope Preparation

  • Use SimPro to prepare accurate quotes and scope of works based on layout designs.
  • Input project data, labor estimates, and materials for submission and client review.
  • Collaborate with the operations and sales teams to ensure accuracy of bids.

Technical & Admin Support

  • Prepare and organize project documentation for internal and external use.
  • Maintain records of completed projects, revisions, and scope changes.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

We are looking for someone who has: 

  • 2–5+ years of experience in HVAC design, engineering, or estimation.

  • Medium knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and calculation software.
  • Medium English language skills.
  • Eager to learn new capabilities and skills.
  • Medium knowledge of ASME standards.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hydraulics design for process equipment. Experience in buildings (HVAC, Plumbing and Drainage, Fire Protection), system integrators and manufacturing may also be considered.
