Role Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Counselor to provide professional support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role involves offering individual and group counseling, facilitating mental health programs, and supporting overall employee well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, experience working with diverse populations, and the ability to navigate complex workplace challenges. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as this position operates within a 24/7 support model.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling and facilitating on-demand, short-term individual counseling sessions with a diverse corporate workforce in the Trust and Safety industry
- Scheduling and facilitating quarterly, structured wellness check sessions with all employees to assess overall state of wellbeing and needs
- Designing and delivering group activities and training focused on enhancing mental health literacy, increasing resilience and the development of healthy coping and distress management skills
- Facilitating group counseling sessions
- Triaging urgent clinical requests through a crisis management solution, assessing needs and scheduling on-demand crisis intervention sessions
- Accurately completing administrative duties including tracking session data, completing case notes, and scheduling of sessions in a timely manner
- Surfacing clinical emerging themes and patterns that arise within counseling and group sessions to your Clinical Lead
- Attending and participating in individual clinical supervision with your Clinical Lead to enhance your working practices
- Maintaining minimum CPD requirements as per the company policy and/or regulatory body requirements
NB. We support moderation teams across day and night shifts in 24/7/365 model therefore, flexibility is a must, including weekends and bank holidays. The role is fully onsite with no facility to work remotely at present.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in psychology, psychotherapy or similar mental health related field
- Valid licence as a Psychometrician, Psychologist or Guidance Counselor from Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC)
- Minimum 100 direct hours providing individual therapy services
- 1+ years' experience delivering clinical services in the Philippines
- Broad range of experience working with diverse clients and groups of a young adult and adult population
- Strong presentation skills
- Expert group facilitation skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English & Filipino is mandatory
- Fluent ins written and spoken Ilonggo or Bisaya is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to engage clients and build relationships
- Prior experience working in a corporate setting is an asset
- Prior experience working with Trust and Safety professionals is an asset
