OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:

Act as an Orthopedic Technician who provides technical support to Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners in the delivery of standard orthopedic practice and assisting in routine surgical procedures. All work is performed under the supervision of a physician or appropriate licensed practitioner.

Responsible for implementation and coordination of sales and marketing-related strategies by the recommended methods and guidelines given by the company towards the achievement of sales and marketing goals in the territory.

TYPICAL ACTIVITIES:

The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.

• Serves as primary contact person for orthopedic support in the areas of surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service technical support.
• Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms to keep all customers abreast of the latest developments, recommended therapies, technological updates, and current items of interest in the industry.
• Attends surgical procedures in operating rooms of hospital accounts to assure customer and patient success with PSI orthopedics products.
• Ensures proper and timely sales ordering and submission of required documentation needed for sales process and collection by Company's policy and procedure.
• Investigate and report any discrepancies found in inventory.
• Reporting of defective products discovered.
• Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal & transfer of products as needed.
• Coordinate closely with customer service & logistics department.
• Timely submission of case reports (product used in cases).

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or any four-allied medical course.
• With at least 1-2 years of experience in handling/operating medical equipment/devices; technical support to Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners in the delivery of standard orthopedic practice.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Job Summary:

This role provides technical support to the hospital's operating room (OR) team, primarily to surgeons by passing instruments, implants and other supplies needed. The Surgical Technician also provides surgical techniques to the OR team with the goal of ensuring that every procedure is done smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Studies all assigned surgical cases prior to surgery.
• Inspects all instruments and/or implants to be used prior to their surgery.
• Effectively assists surgeons in various surgical cases.
• Ensures the sterility of all instruments and implants post-surgery by performing proper and thorough disinfection prior to returning to the Quality Assurance (QA) department.
• Ensures that all instruments and implants are complete prior to returning to the QA department.
• Reports critical incidents that occurred during surgery including but not limited to defective and/or damaged implants and/or instruments.
• Conducts regular case presentations pre and/or post-surgery.

Qualifications and Standards:

• Bachelor's Degree holder of any allied health course (BS Physical Therapy/Nursing/ Medical Technology, and etc.)
• At least three (3) months of experience as a Quality Assurance Associate or in a similar function.
• Ability to carry a load of at least 50kg.
• Product Knowledge, Product Handling, Aseptic Technique, Medical Terminologies, Surgical Techniques

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Medical Coder with expertise in Same Day Surgery (SDS) / Ambulatory Surgery cases. The role involves reviewing patient medical records and assigning the correct ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures. Accuracy, proper sequencing, and the application of Level I and II modifiers in line with coding guidelines are critical for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze SDS medical records for accurate coding.
• Assign correct ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT codes with proper sequencing.
• Apply Level I and Level II modifiers following official coding guidelines.
• Stay updated with coding clinics and CPT assistants for compliance.

Qualifications:
