Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Junior Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in biomedical devices, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Setup: Install and configure medical equipment at hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
  • Maintenance & Calibration: Perform routine preventive maintenance, calibrations, and inspections to ensure equipment meets manufacturer and regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with medical devices, including electrical, mechanical, software-related, and networking problems.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and training to healthcare professionals on equipment usage, software interfaces, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service records, write reports on maintenance and repairs, and update service logs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines, including FDA, DOH, and local healthcare standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical support, and suppliers to address customer needs and improve service quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in servicing medical devices, including X-ray, C-Arm, Ultrasound, CR, or DR systems.
  • Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of medical imaging systems, particularly X-ray, C-Arm, Ultrasound, CR, DR, or similar medical equipment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in electrical, mechanical, software, and IT/networking systems.
  • Familiarity with calibration tools, service software, and remote diagnostics.
  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel to client sites.

  • Valid driver's license (preferred).
  • Certifications from medical device manufacturers or IT/networking (a plus).

  • Graduate of any four (4) year course preferably Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Registered Medical

    Representative at PRC, and other allied Medical courses.

We are currently looking for a Medical Device Auditor to join our Medical and Health Service team You will be performing the audit for medical device manufacturers and ensuring that their Quality Management System (QMS) complies with Medical Devices – including the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) / In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices Regulation (IVDR) and other QMS certification scheme, where applicable.

We welcome experts from different medical device industries

For example:

  • IVD (in-vitro diagnostics) instrumentation and / or reagents
  • Active devices: active non-implantable surgical devices (Cryoablation, High frequency surgery, High-frequency generator, High-frequency instruments, ablation generators, suction pumps for blood), standalone software, Active Endoscopes, and etc

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform onsite audits at manufacturer's premises by evaluating their Quality Management Systems in accordance with the requirements of the MDR / IVDR, and other QMS certification schemes such as ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and MDSAP
  • Assist Sales personnel by providing technical advice to existing and prospective clients
  • Deal with clients' queries relating to certification process including application reviews within acceptable time frames as a project manager
  • Take charge of pre and post audit tasks including preparation of audit documentation and audit package submission

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Science, Pharmaceutical, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Science, Biotechnology or relevant Sciences
  • Have minimum 5 years of relevant experience in testing of medical device / design and development activities / process validation / application of process technology / service & maintenance in the medical device industry.
