**JOB DUTIES**
- Provide mechanical design drafting services for system and component designs.
- Provide installation design drawings, where the company is commissioned to provide
- installation support services.
- Produce 3D printed samples used for testing and evaluation.
- Create BIM files using the CAD software functionality.
- Maintain data file storage and filing in a structured and organised manner.
- Operate 3D printing machinery, including the generation of suitable file formats from the
- CAD systems.
- Maintain the day-to-day condition of computer resources, software updates, etc. used in
- the CAD systems.
- Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards where applicable.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- 2 - 3 years of experience in industrial product development or equivalent.
- Experience in sheet metal and structural steel is an advantage.
- Experienced in the electronics/electrical industry is preferred.
- Proficient in Solidworks software.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of various engineering materials and experience working with stainless steel
- compression fittings will be considered advantageous.
