Job Description:

Responsible for installation, diagnostics, maintenance, testing, repairs and replacements of residential, commercial and industrial air-conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment and parts;

Works collaboratively with the Service and Maintenance Manager in responding to service calls in a timely manner;

Travels to various job sites and perform scheduled service and maintenance work effectively;

Documents all air-conditioning equipment upon arrival - make, model, serial number, type and complete job service report;

Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer's recommendations;

Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical and computer control of air-conditioning units;

Uses refrigeration tools and diagnostic test equipment proficiently;

Reads and understands schematic diagrams of air-conditioning, electrical circuits;

Responds to trouble calls and customer complaints

Maintains proficiency by attending trainings, reading job-related materials, and meeting with others in area of responsibility;

Maintains safety, cleanliness and orderliness of work areas;

Completes paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough and timely manner;

Provides high level of customer satisfaction;

Promotes and ensures adherence to ISO Quality Standards;

Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Vocational diploma/graduate of TESDA NC II/TESDA certified air-conditioning and refrigeration course

With at least 2 years working experience in installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of residential, commercial and industrial air-conditioning equipment and controls

With current non-professional or professional driver license

Proficient knowledge and use of refrigeration tools and diagnostic test equipment

Working knowledge of all trade classifications including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, telecommunications and building management systems

Excellent customer service and diagnostic skills

Ability to work unsupervised

Ability to keep paperwork up to date including service reports, correspondence and billings

Ability to present technical information in one-on-one or group discussions

Ability to adapt to fast pace work environment

Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 standards

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of the standard practices, equipment, materials, tools and terminology in Air-conditioning, Mechanical and Electrical contracting trade; thorough knowledge of storekeeping and warehousing using computer inventory system or manual record keeping.

Ability to diagnose faulty tools and perform minor repair. Comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear

Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.

Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Frequent exposure to one or more disagreeable conditions, such as outdoor work in weather extremes, undesirable cleaning or repair assignments, moderately hazardous conditions.

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

•    To conduct testers and other test equipment process control.

•    To update tester control charts, trend charts, media consumption record, correlation factor (CF) records on time.

•    To properly maintain and repair HDPT/SDPT to avoid unnecessary breakdowns and to assure that test machines are operating at optimum level.

1.   Monitors and analyzes tester control charts and coordinate with Test Engineer for further analysis and corrective actions.

2.   Assist Test Engineers on new tester set-up, upgrades, debugging, trouble shooting and repair.

3.   Assists Test Engineers in testing evaluation, correlations and GRR studies.

4.   Prepares and compile GRR, correlation, evaluation reports and control charts.

5.   Set-up testers as per documented procedure.

6.   Responsible to fill up machine check sheets and perform task as indicated.

7.   Crunches and submits test data for Test Engineer's review.

8.   Monitors the inventory of media, and other tester consumable parts.

9.   Support other teams in special project such housekeeping and safety program.

10. Perform other function as may be assign by the superior after due training and qualification.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Technical course graduate.
• Experience as Technician gained in a magnetic head company or from semiconductor industry will be an advantage
• With at least 1 year experience in Dieprep, Die Attach, Wirebond, Mold Process

Process Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide and review immediate action to contain and resolve production issues and defects.
• Conduct immediate repairs on jigs and fixtures to accommodate production runs.
• Work with the Process auditor, QE Technician and Line Leaders to provide better support to production
• Perform daily wave profiling as part of wave soldering defect analysis.
• Review work instructions versus the current BOM to reflect changes.
• Monitor the Engineering Change Order (ECO) and update WIS if necessary.
• Initiate continuous improvement projects to continuously enhance quality, productivity, and reliability.
• Conduct qualification of newly fabricated jigs and fixtures.
• Provide corrective action in every defect encounter on process assembly and soldering process.
• Monitor the equipment continuity in every product model running.

Test Technician

Position Summary

Responsible in sustaining and maintenance of Automated Test Equipment on Production line, and set-up of additional fixtures needed by production. Validation of No Fault Found on the line and provide action.

Responsibilities

• Performs inventory and Qualification of Golden and Reference Samples used in the Production line.
• Sustaining and Maintenance of test setup.
• Attend test setup downtime at the production line.
• Provide Project/Innovation/System/Improvement
• Fabricate, wiring and setup additional test fixtures as needed by production personnel.
• Execute test setup conversion from one model to another at production line.
• Verification of No Fault Found (NFF) findings at Failure Analysis station.

Failure Analysis Technician

Position Summary:

Analyze product malfunctions or failures, ensures that products comply with the parameters.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed failure analysis investigations on products or equipment.
• Collaborate, develop and implement plants to address root causes of failures.
• Maintain the level of units for FA below the set maximum limit.
• Help in the line in compliance of quality level in terms of test failure
• Timeliness, accuracy, and quality of our FA results.

Maintenance/Equipment Technicians

Position Summary:

Provide production line support, maintain and calibrate equipment.

Responsibility:

• Improvements on productivity, delivery and quality by fabricating poke yoke, jigs and fixture, jigs and fixtures, additional design.
• Execute, evaluate, & continuously ensure implementation of formulated containment, corrective, & preventive actions to solve any issue related in the process to avoid rework/scrappage.
• Check proper execution of all updated and controlled manufacturing standards (as per specification).
• Assist on all necessary efforts to achieve on time Delivery and to keep quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanics Technology or any equivalent degree
• Knowledgeable in electronic components operation and application
• Knowledgeable in Windows applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
