Job Summary
The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including control panels, motors, CCTVs, and associated equipment. This role ensures all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and industry standards to maintain uninterrupted operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance & Support
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems including panels, motors, and control systems.
- Perform troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair of electrical equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and spare parts inventory.
- Provide technical assistance during projects, upgrades, and retrofits.
- Respond to electrical breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to safety protocols, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and company policies.
- Promote a "Safety First" culture and follow all site safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, or related technical/vocational course.
- TESDA NCII/NCIII certification in Electrical Installation & Maintenance preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in petroleum, oil & gas, energy, or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge in electrical systems, motors, control panels, instrumentation, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Physically fit, safety-oriented, and willing to work in shifts or site-based assignments.
