Job Description:
The Raw Material and Dressed Chicken Finished Products Planner is responsible for ensuring the accurate forecasting, planning, and scheduling of raw materials and finished dressed chicken products to meet customer demand while optimizing production efficiency and minimizing costs. This role plays a key part in balancing supply and demand, coordinating with procurement, live broiler sales, DC production, further processing, chiller/cold storage, and DC sales department to secure consistent product availability aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain raw material and finished product forecasts based on demand trends, sales forecasts, and historical data.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for dressed chicken products to align with customer requirements.
- Plan and monitor raw material requirements (live birds, packaging materials, etc.) ensuring timely availability to support production schedules.
- Coordinate with live broiler sales department regarding bird supply allocation for DC operation and further processing.
- Collaborate with Production Supervisor and Warehouse Supervisor to Track chiller/cold storage inventory and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO)
- Coordinate with Live Broiler Sales, Procurement, Production, Sales, and Logistics department, (if any) to align supply chain activities.
- Collaborate with Production Supervisor to communicate adjustments to production schedules in response to changes in demand, supply disruptions, or unforeseen operational issues.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance/Systems to ensure product quality compliance in line with company and regulatory standards
- Conduct variance analysis between forecasted and actual production/sales performance.

How You Will Contribute:
- Execute short term supply / demand balance in line with longer term plan for certain warehouses whilst balancing competing priorities, optimizing inventory levels and dealing with variability in customer demand.
- Continually monitor open orders, production/quality/raw material issues that will impact the production plan so that changes can be implemented proactively to ensure supply reliability to the customer.
- Own order confirmation process for selected warehouses. Confirm orders according business guidance and make sure orders are shipped according to requests.
- Manage short term supply/demand disruptions and lead collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, 3rd party service providers and business partners to meet business obligations.
- Routinely check and track inventory quantity, slow moving or other inventory statuses. Drive resolution in identifying solutions and disposition on inventories and taking action to implement those solutions.
- Proactively communicate, solve and respond with customer service, supply chain planner, marketing/commercial and supply chain operations regarding issues with product availability where service level will be affected, e.g. order will not ship on time.
- Facilitate regular scheduling meetings with stakeholders to ensure operating plan alignment. Create and track metrics which indicate the performance of the execution of schedule against plan.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Maintain & monitor key KPIs for assets (i.e. slow-moving & obsolete inventory, inventory, delivery to promise, etc.)
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business, Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years of Supply Chain or Operations experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of supply planning theory and stock management
- Strong English and Local Language communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multi-functional- and cultural team environment
- Continuous improvement mind set
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- SAP/APO/BW experience strongly preferred
