As a Debt Recovery Legal Clerk, you will support the Debt Recovery practice area by preparing and filing court documents, managing correspondence with clients and third parties, and ensuring efficient case assessments. This is an entry-level, full-time onsite position with work hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
You'll work alongside a team of experienced law clerks and paralegals in a dynamic, down-to-earth, and professional environment that values learning and collaboration.
YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES- Preparation and online filing of court documents
- Communicating over the telephone with clients, debtors, court registries, and stakeholders
- Drafting correspondence to clients, courts, and third parties
- Evaluating and assessing cases to provide written recommendations for amicable resolution
- Maintaining case files and performing general administrative duties
- Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and the right attitude are welcome
- Experience in legal debt recovery and the strata industry is a plus, but not required
