- Providing accurate, relevant, and timely advice on a variety of legal topics that relate to the business
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements
- Managing and mitigating legal risks and advising on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals.
- Ensuring the Flash Group (Ph’s) compliance with all laws and rules and regulations
- Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the Flash Group (Ph)
- Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements

Qualifications:
Must have a law degree from a reputable university
Must be admitted to the Philippine bar
Must have at least five (5) years of experience gained in a law firm and/or as an in-house counsel (with prior experience gained from a law firm)
- Creative and provides out-of-the-box solutions
- Must be able to critically analyze issues and make appropriate recommendations thereon
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
- Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the organization’s legal department and across all businesses
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

Role Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the organization operates within legal boundaries and maintains full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This includes managing legal risks, overseeing compliance programs, and providing expert legal advice to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal & Risk Management (50%)
- Advise senior leadership on legal rights, risks, and developments.
- Lead risk management initiatives and oversee updates to the enterprise risk platform.
- Draft, review, and manage legal agreements and corporate records.
- Conduct legal research and support litigation strategy.
- Provide guidance on corporate actions and decisions.
Compliance Oversight (50%)

- Create audit plans and conduct periodic compliance reviews.
- Identify areas of risk and recommend corrective measures.
- Oversee government licensing and renewal processes.
Qualifications & Expectations:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Lawyer, preferably has experience in Maritime Industry
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Skilled in risk assessment, legal drafting, and compliance audits.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
